She remained unconscious, somehow her body only injured. Nothing truly broken. Maybe a few fractures, though. Her body endured thanks to her Greeed self, no doubt.

The crystal around her degraded and Mezool broke herself out, transforming. She looked at what had happened. She picked up McKenzie and Joseph, dumping the latter in an alleyway as he walked with McKenzie, and arm around her as she carried her back, in her human form to their hotel room.

She would wake up soon after that, turning her head to look at Mezool, "What happened...?" she asked softly.

"Leave him alone in an alley...he may be our enemy...but does he deserve to be alone?" she asked Mezool, "Just left to lie there? Even if he will get back up with certainty, as we know, is it right to leave him like that?"

Mezool looked her square in the eye for a while. She turned and left without another word, a hard expression on her face as she locked the door behind her as she left, blocking the door with a small table. She went down the elevator and back to reception, walking over to the receptionist.
