Otoya realized that the move was stupid, yes, going with Hikari...wherever she was going. He wasn't sure anymore, but he knew it was not in any way towards where he lived.
Oh well. There was a price for beauty. This was what he was paying at the moment, to follow it.

Hikari took the turn-off back to Tokyo, driving along at a reasonably fast speed. She felt the need to make up for the delay and check up on Himari. The problem, of course, was the man coming along with her, but that wasn't an issue she couldn't handle.
Of course, she didn't have a spare helmet so it'd probably be a good idea not to kill him by accident on the way.

He was faring fine without a helmet. He enjoyed it, in fact. He desperately wanted to speak, but was smart enough not to. He wouldn't be heard, and unlikely but possibly, could eat a bug or something, and ruin it. He had to think of his charm, after all.

After a fair while without conversation- not necessarily a bad thing, nice to have a while to think- Hikari pulled up the Machine Joker outside an apartment block outside Shibuya. 'Alright.' She took off her helmet and switched off the engine. 'I know you're a gentleman and all, but I still have to say it. Shoes off at the door, don't touch anything I say you can't, and be nice to Himari.' She got off the bike, and started locking it up. 'Otherwise, come on up.'

"Of course," he said, following just behind her, "And I am always nice to a lady," he added, adding more emotion into his voice then, as that was more important.

'Yeah, I know you are,' she said, leading the way up the floors, 'Having known you an hour or so, I'm sure of that much.' She knocked on the door before unlocking it. 'Come in, have a seat.'

"Thank you. You know...I must admit, taking that blow for you is really starting to take its toll on me..."
He was being serious. Not trying to bring it up to impress what he had done, but because it was hurting.

'Oh, of course.' Hikari led him inside, showing him to the sofa. 'Don't worry about it, sit down and relax.' Himari poked her head out of her room. 'You're home! Oh, who's that?' 'One of the Riders who fought with us earlier. You remember.' She left him sitting and went to rummage in the kitchen. 'The amusing guy who got in the way of that Final Vent for us. Otoya, would you like tea or something?' 'Oooh.' Himari shuffled across in her slippers and sat down carefully nearby Otoya. 'Nice to see you in person! Don't let Hikari interview you too much now.' 'I'll give him a moment before that, you know.'

Otoya relaxed on the couch, "Tea would be nice," he said, then he looked to Himari, giving her a smile. Not his charming smile. He could see her state wasn't...great, or at least not normal. He didn't want to to do too much, "I remember your voice," he told her, "Likewise. Now...interview?"

'Alright, I'll make three.' Hikari answered to Otoya then raised her eyebrow at Himari. 'Of course I'm not going to interview him much.' 'She does this.' Himari smiled back, folding her arms into her sleeves. 'Likes to ask people lots of questions when they come over. Not that we do that much.' Something seemed to occur to her. 'Oh! What's a Final Vent anyways?' 'It's the finishing move that one variety of card-based Riders use.' Hikari walked over slowly, balancing three cups in her hands. 'Like their version of our Memory Break.' 'Ohh.' Himari nodded. 'Wow, thanks. Must've hurt.'

"It did hurt. A lot," he said. Not looking for sympathy, but being honest. And if Hikari wanted to offer sympathy...he wouldn't stop her.

Hikari handed over the tea, taking a sip of hers but not sitting down yet. 'I'm still surprised how quick you were up and about. You want me to grab you a painkiller?' 'We've got spares.' Himari chimed in helpfully, and sipped her own tea. 'Mmm. Nice.'

"No. I wouldn't want to take from you," he said, directing that to Himari, "I...want to overcome this myself, or I am not the man I believed I was. And as for my speed...beauty roused me to get back to my feet."

Hikari sat down opposite them. 'For Otoya, being around women seems like all the help he needs recovering.' 'Hee. You're recharging him.' Once more, Himari seemed amused. 'Well. Just to clarify, I'm not proposing giving you Himari's medication here. So, tell us more about yourself. All I know at the moment is you're a good-hearted Rider who likes smooth-talking ladies.' 'Interviewing...' 'I am not.'

"As Himari-chan said, you are recharging, Hikari-chan," Otoya said, "I don't need medication. Now...well, how much do you want to know? I don't mind being interviewed by such a lovely woman...but some of my story is...you might not believe it."
