Hikari chuckled this time. 'Trust me, I've encountered some unusual things.' She waved her cup between herself and Himari. 'For starters, there's our situation where my partner's mind teleports to me and we combine into a Kamen Rider. And we live fairly close to an area of the city that got hit by an alien meteorite. Go ahead, by all means.'

He took a sip of his tea, "Very nice," he said, "Well...I was born just after World War Two, for starters."
He let that sink in first.

'Hm.' Neither had been quite expecting that. 'So you're...' Himari tilted her head to one side, staring at him. 'Somewhere in your seventies, then.' Hikari nodded, sipping her tea again. 'Okay. So either you're remarkably well preserved, or you're not entirely human.' 'He's the best-looking seventy-year-old I've ever seen.' Himari sat back.

"Time travel," he interjected, "It's...well...I don't entirely know what happened. But...here I am. Twenty six years old."

'I have to admit, that's a new one on me.' Hikari admitted. 'Haven't ever met a time traveller before. It's a shame you don't know much about it, but it's a great story nonetheless.' 'Hikari...' Himari looked at her with eyebrows raised. 'You know I don't publish the Rider stuff. But I can still keep records.' She waved her hand at Otoya. 'Sorry for saying you were seventy, then. Please, continue. So you're a man out of time...'

"Misplaced, I like to think," he said, "It took me some time to adapt, but...I've mostly adapted to this new era. I met a woman right before I was misplaced, and she apparently gave me a son. I was gone by then, though. I came here, and met her again. She gave me my Saga powers - she was a Fangire, I should mention. I've been working for an organization known as Aozora ever since, as Ixa."

'Fangires, I see.' Hikari had apparently produced a small notebook out of nowhere and started writing a few things down. 'Interesting that you're a father, because again, you don't look it, but logically that's an issue with time travel.' 'That always used to confuse me when they did it in the movies.' Himari set about blowing steam off the top of her tea. 'Too hot?' 'No, it's okay.' 'Fine. Anyway, our lives are pretty sci-fi as it is.' 'Did we see a Fangire before?' 'No, that wasn't an actual one.' Hikari shook her head. 'we haven't encountered Fangires in the field yet. So, 'Saga' and 'Ixa'... two Kamen Rider forms, I assume?' She wanted to press him about Aozora first, truth be told, but decided to leave that for a while. It had to be more conversation than an interview, really.

"Saga, the stained glass form. A Fangire's form," he said, "I'm not one, but it's been given to me by one, so I have her power, so to speak. Ixa is my knightly form. Saga is beautiful, but Ixa is protective; like a knight," he said, taking a sip of tea.

'It certainly did a good job earlier today,' she began, 'but on the subject of 'Saga'. It's interesting how often I find Kamen Riders whose powers are derived more or less directly from the kaijin they face.' Himari piped up. 'Like us and our Memories.' 'Much like that, yeah.' Hikari nodded. 'Otoya, have you come across many different kinds of Riders? It's something that interests me, you see.' 'It's her hobby.' 'I wouldn't call it that...'

"My granddaughter, Kiva," he said, "And one known as New Caucasus. That's about it, other than another Ixa model," he said, shrugging, "Sorry. That's all."

'Granddaughter.' Himari smiled, looking at Otoya curiously. 'It still seems weird when he says it looking like that.' 'And she's a Kamen Rider, too. Well, I've heard the name Kiva before. Something to look into in future, maybe...' She picked up her cup again, sipping slowly from it. 'She namedrops plenty of Riders but we're not actually friends with most of them.' Himari said, still trying to tease despite feeling a bit tired already. 'Knowing of them's half the battle. No harm in making use of an information network. Don't let us keep you up, Himari.' 'I'm fine.' She waved it off. 'My tea's not finished yet. Tell us more cool things...'

"Cool things?" he asked Himari with a smile, "I like you already, if you find my information to be cool. Well..."
He really hadn't done much other than chase women and fight the occasional Fangire, had he? Damn...

Himari continued looking expectantly. 'Well, that's already a lot to be getting on with, if you're a time-travelling Fangire-fighting Rider.' She nodded, clearly having come to a conclusion in her head and having picked up on Otoya's trailing off as a sign that he didn't have a lot more stories. 'Mmm. Well, I'm sure we can call on him if we need information on Fangires and Kiva, Himari. I suspect he's got his fair share of stories if he keeps leaping into fights like he did today.' 'We leapt in, too. If anything, you're just as bad, Hikari.'

He smiled and leaned forward, looking to Hikari, "Is that so? A beautiful kindred spirit?"

Himari pointed to Hikari. 'She's always getting in trouble, jumping in and saying we've got to transform again.' 'I can't help it if there's a situation blowing up nearby.' 'She just can't leave it alone if someone's in trouble.' Himari was merely teasing in a good-natured fashion rather than criticising. 'I never see you complaining.' Hikari pointed back. 'You love helping people out more than I do.'
