The BasicsName: Kakusa Shijima, nicknamed Gin by his teammates, much to his chagrin Age: 19 Sex: Male Species: Human Date Of Birth: September 3rd Nationality: Japanese Hometown Born in the hidden village of Yaso, and raised in Tokyo until age ten, then returned to Yaso Occupation: Hero of Justice Lord of a fallen clan, reduced to a ronin. Part-timer at a small ramen shop. Alignment: Chaotic Good Theme Song: Rising - Yoshida Brothers (Shamisen funk FTW) Outer StuffFace Claim: YOFFY Height: 5'8" Weight 153 lbs. Hair color: Naturally black, but bleached a bit, taking a blond-ish tint. Hair style: Calmly styled and laid down perfectly, with nary a stray hair. Eye color: A rare shade, gray, but with a shimmering silver tint to it. Skin color: The standard skin tone of a Japanese man, though maybe a bit darker than normal. Posture: A very proper individual, standing with the posture of a lord. Scars/ Tattoo’s/ Other markings: None. Accessories: In his usual attire, naught but a watch and a tie. In his battle outfit, he has a red bandanna around his right wrist, two leather bracelets, one black and one white, around his left wrist, and multiple chain necklaces. Clothes: When in civilian clothes, Kakusa tends to wear rather fashionable, high-end outfits, usually comprised of either a silver or black shirt, a thin black jacket, and dark black jeans, with more formal footwear and his long white tie worn loosely around his collar. In his battle outfit (Pictured at top), Kakusa wears a long silver haori over a black tank-top, and tough cotton work pants, with black boots that go up to about mid-calf. Anything Else? Kakusa has excellent night-vision, and is able to see very clearly even in pitch-black darkness, likely due to the nature of his Mojikara. Kakusa is also fond of playing guitar, and can usually be found playing it alone, or playing the Shamisen his father, the previous lord of the Shijima clan, left to him before he passed. Inner StuffLikes:- String instruments
- Being in the dark, especially alone
- Loyal friends and allies.
- Hime
Dislikes:- Large crowds
- Gedoushu (Duh)
- Hime's condescending attitude.
- Hime
Strengths:- Good at working in unfavorable conditions (At night, bad terrain, stuff like that)
- Expert tactician
- Decent cook
Weaknesses:- Can't clean very well at all
- Mojikara weakened by focused light
- Can't resist the temptation of curry
Goal(s):- To wipe out the Gedoushu, and reestablish the Shijima clan.
Habits/ Quirks:- Gin tends to zone out completely when playing the shamisen, flooded with memories of his father.
Relationships:- Rai: To Kakusa, Rai is a loyal vassal and friend, acting as Kakusa's right hand, the muscle to Kakusa's wit.
- Hime: For the most part, Hime and Kakusa are on good terms, both somewhat relieved that the arranged marriage was cancelled. Kakusa honestly had no objection to the marriage, but felt that it was pushed on them too early, and that their families were forcing it, instead of merely arranging it as they should.
- Shinkengers: Overall, Kakusa sees the Shinkengers as allies, but refuses to see the Shiba clan as his "Lords", instead merely aiding them of their own will, because of their like goal.
Overview: A calm, collected individual, not one to let his emotions get the better of him. Of course, this doesn't mean Kakusa is without emotions, no. Rather, it's the opposite, his emotions are very strong, but he keeps a lid on them because of the reactive nature of Kage Mojikara. A man bound by duty, he sees it as his sole destiny to exterminate the Gedoushu, and to avenge the family and friends he'd lost. As the heir of the Shijima clan, he'd been trained since he was young in the way of the sword, and the way of the shadows, causing him to be constantly aware of his surroundings, and to act split-second on instinct, sometimes at the wrong time (Such as whapping Rai on the head with a duster for entering without announcing himself.) Hero StuffName: The sacred shadow abyss, ShinkenSilver~! Type Of Hero: Shinkenger (Sentai) Henshin Device: Tanto-Phone: A strange device, a thin flip-phone with a black body, which, when opened and switched to "Slash Mode" produces a tanto blade from the speaker end. However, the tanto isn't a weapon, but rather a tool to use the ancient Shijima clan technique, used by the Shinkengers of Yaso (The Ronin), Zan Mojikara (Slash Letters). Like normal Mojikara, the Zan Mojikara is used to draw upon the power of Kanji, but unlike normal Mojikara, Zan Mojikara is slashed into the air with a blade, rather than using a brush. Henshin Sequence: Kakusa draws his Tanto-Phone, changing it into Slash Mode, and slashes the Kage (Shadow) Kanji into the air before him, then slashes it vertically down the middle, causing it to split and wrap around him, creating a silver bodysuit, with a black haori nearly exactly the same as Gedou-ShinkenRed, whilst his helmet forms, a stylized yet simplified version of the Kage Kanji forming the visor. Forms:- Form Name: Kagetai|Shadow Body (Default)
Image/ Description: Similar to the Shiba Clan's Shinkengers, although with a silver coloration, and a black haori exactly like that of Gedou-ShinkenRed, with a crescent-moon-shaped piece holding it closed in the front, at chest-level. The visor is a stylized version of the Kage kanji, the main part being simplified so that he can see, and the radical on the right being duplicated onto the left, making the visor nearly symmetrical. On his left his are his weapon, DaiShinkenMaru and ShoShinkenMaru, worn as the Daisho so symbolic of ancient samurai. Motif: Kage Kanji, silver, crescent moon, shadows Color Scheme: Silver/Black Transformation: See above Weapons: DaiShinkenmaru and ShoShinkenMaru: A pair of swords, almost exactly like the Shiba Clan's Shinkenmaru, with one key difference. These two are slightly altered in length, DaiShinkenMaru being slightly longer, and ShoShinkenMaru being slightly shorter. When the Kage Ookami Disc is placed as a tsuba on the DaiShinkenMaru, the swords transform into their form as the Silver Fang.
Silver Fang: A daisho, just as DaiShinkenMaru and ShoShinkenMaru, but revealed in their true form. The blunt side of the larger sword is jagged, and resembles the top of a wolf's tail, and the edge of the smaller sword is much the same, only sharper, as to be able to cut the foe. But the true power of the Silver Fang is when the two swords are combined, the blunt of the shorter sword to the edge of the larger, the combined sword extends, creating gaps in the blade and a dual-edged sword, the Silver Fang Nodachi Mode. In this form, the sword constantly exudes Shadow Mojikara, causing every slash to leave a slice in the air, allowing for use of the slices to creating shadow projectiles, or to combine them for Zan Mojikara techniques.
Abilities: Shadow control, expert swordsmanship, able to summon an Origami Finisher(s): Shijima-ken Zanjutsu; Mu Ken Ogiri (Shijima sword slashing-technique; Nothingness Sword Greatslash): Kakusa holds the Silver Fang, in Nodachi Mode, at his side, and breathes lightly into his hand (Ignoring the fact that he has a helmet on), whilst lowly saying the name of the attack. As he finishes the last syllable, he begins swinging the sword, now completely coated in shadow Mojikara, creating a huge version of the Kage kanji, overflowing with energy, and fires it at the foe, ripping apart most kaijin.
Other Equipment:- His shamisen, a Shijima clan heirloom.
History Yaso. A place of legend, rarely known, and even then spoken of as myth. A fabled town of samurai, protectors of mankind. However, it wasn't always a legend. Once, long ago, it was a famous yet infamous town, a town of mighty warriors and skilled craftsmen. Indeed, Yaso was once known as the town of the elite, and the two ruling families of Shijima and Nojo, as well as the vassal families of Inazuma, Jūrzoku, Shinsei, and Kojin, were known as legendary warriors, on par even with the great Shiba samurai clan. In fact, for a great many years, the Shiba clan and the Yaso clans were close allies, working hand-in-hand to defeat the Gedoushu time and again. However, this alliance wouldn't last forever. As time went on, the Shijima clan began to grow frustrated that, despite having an equal hand in handling the Gedoushu, Yaso was being overlooked, and the Shiba family was getting the entire glory. Because of this, Yaso cut ties with the Shiba, claiming that they would be the ones to defeat the Gedoushu for good. Unfortunately, the Gedoushu were one step ahead. Once the two groups had cut ties, it was none too easy to wipe out the pesky Yaso fools, as the Gedoushu staged a huge raid, annihilating the entire village, no more than a few years after their assault on the Shiba. Unfortunately for the Gedoushu, the six heirs of the families were out of the village training with their teachers, and as they returned to the village and saw what had occurred, each decided on a path to avenge their people and return Yaso to glory. Kakusa decided on the Path of the Lord, holding strong to his honor and tradition, and aiming to wipe out the Gedoushu for good, so no one would ever have to lose someone to the Gedoushu again. OOC StuffAnything Else: Kakusa is an odd one, made to be a foil to the show's ShinkenGold, and turns out to be even more opposite to the site's ShinkenGold. Irony? OOC Name: Night Name Color Silver or gray. Whatevs. Number Of Stars Any Color Of Stars Any Sample RP:A quiet evening, just after closing at the ramen shop. Kakusa was picking up the ingredients, whilst Hikami cleaned the tables, and Rai did the dishes. Rai sighed, complaining. "Why do I always get stuck with the dishes?" Of course, without missing a beat, Hikami replied "Because you're too slow to clean tables, and too clumsy to handle the food." And, like clockwork, Rai replied himself. "Nuh-uh! Gin just gets food duty cuz his sword training included daggers, so he's good with knives." Kakusa, getting a bit annoyed, calmly silenced them both in one go. "How about rather than bicker about it, you be silent and get the work done, so it'll take less time, and then there'll be no reason to complain. Sound easy enough?" In that instant, Rai just silenced, mouth agape, as Hikami let out a little snicker and continued her work.

The BasicsName: Raigamaru "Rai" Inazuma Age: 18 Sex: Male Species: Human Date Of Birth: Nationality: Japanese Hometown Yaso Occupation: Ronin/ part-time worker at the same ramen shop. Alignment: Chaotic Good, but more chaotic than Gin Theme Song: (Name Unknown)Outer StuffFace Claim: Daisuke Namikawa Height: 5'11" Weight 162 lbs. Hair color: Black Hair style: Fairly plain, though it covers his face a bit. Eye color: Brown, but looks almost black. Skin color: The average skin tone of a Japanese man. Posture: A bit rougher than Kakusa's, showing his more rough-and-tumble style. Scars/ Tattoo’s/ Other markings: A few small cut from sword training, and a large gash scar on his back from his first (failed) attempt at using his finisher. Accessories: A few bracelets, some hanging chains, and a carrying pouch on his left thigh. Clothes: In his civvies, Rai wears a pair of thick cargo pants, accompanied by an orange sleeveless hoodie, with no shirt underneath. The outfit fits Rai well, as it doesn't restrict him from moving freely, and is fairly lightweight. In his Shinkenger apparel, he wears an outfit much similar to Kakusa, but with a black happi coat in place of a haori. Anything Else?Inner StuffLikes:- Ramen
- Taiko drums
- Loud music
- The sound of rain and thunder
Dislikes:- Sake (He has to drink it during Yaso's festivals)
- Being bossed around by Hime
- Soggy ramen
- Spicy food
Strengths:- A man with a great raw power, and indomitable endurance.
- Good at improvising
- Great at cleaning
Weaknesses:- Impatient
- Misses details
- Relies a bit too much on his power
Goal(s):- To live a long life, and bring pride to the Inazuma Clan name.
Habits/ Quirks:- Taps on just about everything in a rhythmic manner when he's bored or nervous.
Relationships:- Gin: As Rai's Inazuma clan has long been vassals of the Shijima clan, Rai treats Kakusa as his lord, but more because of duty than by personal preference, preferring to see Kakusa as his best friend.
- Hime: Honestly, Rai isn't exactly fond of Hime, since he can't stand being bossed around, but he puts up with her for the sake of the team, and for Kakusa's sake.
- Shinkengers: Rai honestly doesn't care one way or the other about the Shiba clan, so he leaves no opinions about them.
Overview:Loud, boisterous, overly friendly, and loyal. A good summary of Rai, in a few words. Rai's the kind of guy that, if you don't know him, he'd annoy the hell out of you, but if you're close, you realize he's just about the most honest, straightforward person you can meet. Doesn't make him any less annoying, though. But seriously, Rai is a devoted and faithful, and puts his full trust in Kakusa's judgement. Hero StuffName: The dashing black bolt, ShinkenBlack! Type Of Hero: Shinkenger (Sentai) Henshin Device: Tanto-Phone: A strange device, a thin flip-phone with a black body, which, when opened and switched to "Slash Mode" produces a tanto blade from the speaker end. Forms:- Form Name: Raitai (Lightning Body) | Default Form
Image/ Description: A black suit, with electric blue highlights, designed much like that of the Shiba Shinkengers, but with the addition of a black Matsuri Happi, held together by a cord in the front, with all of the designs in electric blue, an electricity theme rather than a wave pattern, and the Shijima emblem rather than a kanji. Because of the black color of his outfit, his visor is electric blue, a simplified and stylized Rai Kanji. Motif: Lightning, taiko, festival, kanji, hawk Color Scheme: Black, electric blue Transformation: See above Weapons: NiFunsai Shinkenmaru: ShinkenBlack's signature weapons, a twin pair of swords, with a thicker blade than that of a normal Shinkenmaru, made more to slam into the foe and cause impact damage than to cut them. When the Rai Taka disk is placed on the left sword as a tsuba, they reveal their true form as the Bolt Crusher.
Bolt Crusher: A pair of large, electric blue tetsubo, constantly crackling with electricity. Quite simply, the smash things, and electrocute the enemy. Despite lacking a cutting edge, the electricity is actually Lightning Mojikara, and can be used to shape Zan Mojikara. Abilities: Lightning attacks, swordsmanship, club skills. Finisher(s): Inazuma-ryu: Idaina Kyukei (Inazuma Style: Great Break): Rai shapes the Rai kanji with the Bolt Crusher, then slams both into the kanji, slamming it onto the foe and crushing them.
Other Equipment:- His drum, a miniature taiko passed down in his family.

The BasicsName: Hikami Nojo, referred to "affectionately" as Hime. Due to an old habit, she gained the nickname of "Yaso's Kunoichi" during her younger days. Age: 18 Sex: Female Species: Human Date Of Birth: February 14 Nationality: Japanese Hometown Yaso Occupation: Part-timer at the same ramen shop Alignment: True Neutral Theme Song: (Name Unknown)Outer StuffFace Claim: Rie Kugimiya Height: 5'1" Weight 74 lbs. Hair color: A light, airy brown Hair style: Long, light, and airy, with a slight curl here and there. Eye color: Brown Skin color: Fair, with a slightly lighter color than average. Posture: Very regal and refined, like that of a princess. Scars/ Tattoo’s/ Other markings: Simply pierced ears. Accessories: Snowflakes-shaped earrings, and a small white flower hairpin. Clothes: Hikami tends towards wearing sweaters, often light in color, favoring white, ice-blue and sage green, and wearing medium-length skirts with thigh-high socks. Anything Else? The insides of her clothes are riddled with countless pockets, used to hold everything from weapons, to her Tantophone, to snacks, to...well, you get the point. These pockets lead to her childhood title of "Yaso's Kunoichi". Also, never touch her hairpin. EVER. Inner StuffLikes:- Her hairpin, a gift from her mother.
- Snowy mornings.
- The beach.
- Kakusa
Dislikes:- Hot summer days
- Rain
- Fire users
- Raigamaru
Strengths:- Always cool-headed in a fight.
- Good at handicrafts
- Very tidy
Weaknesses:- Horrible at cooking
- Temperamental outside of fights
- A bit of a neat freak
Goal(s):- To see the Gedoushu destroyed, and Yaso restored to it's former glory.
And she secretly wants to settle down and start a family...with Kakusa, of course.
Habits/ Quirks:- Being a neat freak, she obsesses over everything being clean
- Despite knowing that she has no skill, she insists on cooking occasionally, and demands Kakusa eat it.
Relationships:- Kakusa: Although she appears cold and indifferent, Hime actually holds a deep love for Kakusa, far beyond just an arranged marriage.
- Rai: Hime is thoroughly annoyed by Rai's antics, finding him fairly bothersome.
- Shiba Shinkengers: Hime has no problems with most of the Shiba Shinkengers, aside from Kaoru. She tends to get fidgety and irritable around Kaoru, holding her as a personal rival.
Overview:At first glance, Hikami would appear to be a cold, heartless woman. But this is merely a facade, a mask of ice worn to protect herself, and for the sake of others, she puts on a strong front and hides her true self, a caring, if a bit airheaded and bubbly, teenage girl, who only wants to see those she cares for happy. Quite the difference, right? Yeah, I could hardly believe it myself. But Hikami is just that, an ordinary girl dealing with extraordinary circumstances to the best of her abilities. And, of course, her family's infamous temper doesn't hurt...her. Everyone else, yeah. Hero StuffName: The dazzling snow-white princess, ShinkenWhite~ Type Of Hero: Shinkenger (Sentai) Henshin Device: Tanto-Phone: A strange device, a thin flip-phone with a black body, which, when opened and switched to "Slash Mode" produces a tanto blade from the speaker end. Image/ Description: A beautiful form, fitting an elegant princess, her body is wrapped in an icy blue bodysuit, accentuating the curves of her figure, over which rests a pure white yukata, flowing gently on her slender form. Her visor is a stylized version of the Yuki Kanji, giving off an air of grace. Motif: Snow, Ice, Kanji, Samurai, Princess Color Scheme: White, Ice Blue Transformation: Above Weapons: Yugana Shinkenmaru: Almost exactly like a standard Shinkenmaru, ShinkenWhite's weapon has but one key difference. The handle of the Yugana Shinkenmaru is just a bit longer than normal, adding a slight bit more control. Snowfall Shimmer: The released form of the Yugana Shinkenmaru, attained by using the Yukihyou Disk, the Snowfall Shimmer is a pure-white naginata, with a crystal blade of pure ice, constantly exuding Ice Mojikara. Abilities: Ice control, expert with a Naginata, able to summon Origami Finisher(s): Nojo-ryuu Naginata-jutsu; Yugure no Kosetsu (Nojo Style Naginata Technique; Dusk Snowfall): Hime raises her weapon above her head, before gracefully carving the Yuki kanji into the air before her, before striking it at the enemy, freezing whatever is struck solid, and then crushing the ice with a single strike.
Other Equipment:- Her mother's shakuhachi flute, which she plays whenever she gets sad.
