He swiftly assumed his Orphnoch form for his own protection, and used his stronger legs and wings to dash again, once more trying to get behind her.

Sakura tried to attack again but tripped over the chain and fell onto her back.

Ren kicked the chain away and then used his left hand - now his Orphnoch arm again - and pulled her to her feet, wrapping his human left arm around her arms and chest to keep them pinned while he put his right claws to her throat.
"Got ya." Ren said.

Arthur wasn't fairing as well against Laertes. In fact he was on the roof of a shop with the Hathaway Agent bearing down on him with his gun. In about five seconds it was going to be over.
"G-get off me!" Sakura shouted, trying to squirm free "Let me go you- you pervert!"

"How can you call me a 'pervert', Princess?" He said, using that name again, "You're a beautiful woman." He reverted his hand to normal, brushing it across her cheek. He reached into his pocket, taking his Avon System and flipping it into the blaster mode. He turned and fired at Laertes.
(Ren wasn't interested on Force, but he is here for reasons I'll get into later)

"Don't you da-!" Sakura stopped and whimpered a little as his hand brushed across her.
Arthur hit the floor hard. Laertes was leering over him and holding his weapon close to his head.
"This ends here Ingram," He declared "And it ends no-"
The rest of the word "now" degenerated into a cry of pain as Laertes tumbled over. Arthur looked over the side and gave thumbs up to Ren.

Ren nodded to Arthur and pocketed his weapon again, "You're damaged, aren't you?" He questioned Sakura.

It hit him, but he didn't let go.
"You're dodging the question." He guessed. He wasn't sure; maybe she just really did want him to let go and had nothing to say. Maybe his instincts - which he was still trying to get used to - were wrong here.

"Because I'm also damaged." Ren said, "I lost my humanity and everything I once was when I became an Orphnoch. That's why I'm wearing all black. I figured that you might be the same, considering your appearance, and considering the sense I'm getting off of you."
(basically, Ren liked Katsumi, his boss, but he figured that she was a normal person, and he wasn't, as he traveled with Arthur and after his transformation into an Orphnoch. He decided to abandon those feelings, and now sees someone who could be kind of like him, and who is more like him; a fighter, so he's attracted)
