"I just care about ridding the world of Sonnet," He said "Go ahead kill her, I don't give a monkeys,"
"Cheers," Sakura commented sarcastically.
"You're actually considering it aren't you!" Laertes said "That orphnoch half is really starting to take hold ..."

"You think my Orphnoch side is taking that much control over me?" Ren questioned, "It is true; I was never like this, but this is a good side for me to take. This is a dangerous world, I've found out; so I need this power, I need this side to me, now."
He still had her by the throat, but wasn't going to kill her yet.

"What?" Laertes asked from behind him "Oh, no I'm just stalling you so that you won't notice that I'm aiming my gun at your friend,"
Sure enough Laertes's ring gun was lined up with Arthur's skull.

"I have to admit, that's a good plan." Ren said, "I'm sorry I have to do this to you." He told Sakura, "Using someone as beautiful as you as a weapon." He whipped around and threw all of his strength into throwing her at Laertes to take out his aim.

Laertes's arm was flung to the side and a shot fired randomly, hitting a box with a loud crack. Arthur looked back to see Ren in his Orphnoch form and two other people. Laertes swore and aimed again. Arthur was able to duck to his right and the shot missed him. He looked up at Ren, what was going on here?

"Hurry and transform!" Ren shouted to Arthur. He flexed his claws and leapt for Laertes.

Laertes tumbled backwards, dropped the ring gun and took out his clockwork shooter. He started firing rapid bursts at the Orphnoch.
Arthur transformed and then shot off after the girl, grabbing her flailing chain and pulling on it leaving the two in a tug-of-war with the chain.

Ren slashed at Laertes and leapt over towards Arthur, slashing the chain with his claws.

Laertes dove backwards to avoid the claws and then glanced at Sakura. She'd pulled her chain free but the blade bit had been pulled off rendering the weapon useless.
"Deal with him!" Laertes ordered, pointing at Ren "Sonnet's mine!"

"Good; I was hoping I'd get you." Ren said, returning to normal, only leaving his right hand and arm transformed, "Come on then, Princess." He said.
(I love Ankh's arm, if you can't tell; part of the reason I let Ren become an Orphnoch)

"Call me princess again, and I will end you!" She shouted.
Sakura took out a wind key from under her glove and started winding something up. Said something, a mantis clockworker, was thrown out of her hand and towards Ren's face.
Laertes and Sonnet however were fighting their way up a tall building. Laertes was weaving, dodging and shooting while Arthur was panicking and trying to block the punches and shots.

Ren leapt forward and snatched the mantis in his claw, clenching his fist while trying to weave to get behind Sakura.
