Ryosuke took another swing at a Stinger. "Just who are you guys, anyway?" he asked them.
"Well, there's a long story about that, actually..." Aaron said, about to go into a long drawn-out history of the Ranger teams.

I'm pretty sure that was only when they could summon the additional mecha, though. They unlocked them as the Headers on the ground, then at the same time, as the mecha.

Ryosuke swung at the Stingers some more, still listening.

Cal got sick of listening to this and fell back, "You," he told Ryosuke in English, since he didn't know Japanese, but it sounded like he spoke English at least, "Get out of here; it's dangerous! Aaron, Liam, just focus on fighting!"

"Well, you gotta admit he has determination... Maybe he can..." Aaron started to suggest.

"We need two more," Cal muttered, pulling his Morpher, "Yana, send one more set!"
"Why?"
"Trust me as leader!" Cal said.
In a few moments, a Morpher and set of cards flew out of nowhere from the teleport, heading towards Cal. He grabbed it and threw it to Ryosuke.
