The bolt ended, and Isaka slumped to the floor as his Memory fell out, turning him back to normal form. He grabbed, marveled at how it wasn't broken, and dragged himself to the edge, to see what his bolt had done. It had split W into two, but hadn't killed them. Isaka growled, then cringed at his wound. He pulled out his phone, and called the AntiGarry, which came racing down the street a few minutes later. He managed to stand up, and fell onto the AntiGarry, which closed over him, allowing him to slip into unconsciousness.

Nago and Hikaru just lay there, barely conscious.

Mikan came to after the Antigarry left, sitting up and rubbing her temples. That last attack must have hit harder than she'd thought. Looking around, she saw that the area bore scars from the fight that took place while she was out. Thankfully, it seemed like she'd been overlooked. Small mercies, she thought, checking her phone as she crossed to the two on the floor. A message simply read; 'Target escape. No payment.' 'Hey, um.' She crouched between the two, not sure which to check first. 'I don't know first aid. Are you hurt badly?'

"I'm fine," Hikaru said.
Nago nodded, "Yeah...we're both good."

'Then we all survived that.' She pointed down the direction she figured Isaka had come from, though this was at best a guess. 'Do you know what that was, and why he had a similar belt to us?' Which, she thought, was another question entirely.

"I have no idea," Nago said.
"I could do some research," Hikaru said, "I'll have an answer...eventually."

'Makes you wonder how many of these are out there,' she said, holding her Driver. 'I knew I was hardly the only one...'

"We know others with Memory Drivers," Hikaru said as they got up.
"My fiancee, a...friend, and at least one other man I know," Nago said.

It made her wonder if perhaps there was a common source. 'Do you know who you got yours from? My... benefactor is kind of mysterious.'

"Benefactor," Nago told her, "Just like you."
"Ours is a group known as Foundation X," Hikaru stated, "They...aren't good."

Foundation X? The name was unfamiliar. But if they produced Memories and Drivers, it was a lead worth following. 'I don't even have a name for mine. Do you know much about this foundation X? Is the name Sasaki at all familiar?'

"Foundation X is...a mystery," Hikaru said, "I can read anything; I can access any information in the world...and I can't access theirs. But...Sasaki...I can look up the name. Get you any information you desire, anything at all."

That easily? she wondered. At any rate, it was worth a try. Better than asking around every random Memory user. 'The only thing I have to go on is that family name. But whatever you can discover would be useful. I have reason to believe they're linked to Memories in some way...'

"It will take some time, and I will need more keywords, to narrow it to your specific search," Hikaru said.

'I couldn't ask something so immediate of you right after such a battle anyway,' she reasoned, 'and it's a search with little information to go on, I'm afraid. I understand.'
