Gun of Horrors (Open)

Andrea wandered through the small town, where once the streets ran freely with the joyous sounds of life now they lay barren with only the tiniest of vermin remaining. Her first run of Neo-Fangires had proven to be quite a success, a little too much of a success. This town was supposed to sustain the dozen of them for a year but now they had hunted it to ruin. The Horrors were to ravenous to be controlled by just any fangire. She's have to relocate them soon, perhaps rent out an old Cold War bunker to control their access to food but she needed something to feed her children now...

All across Spain newspapers talk about the sudden burst of strange disappearances in the small town of La Casa Demoníaca. Over the course of a month every citizen of the little village had vanished from the face of the Earth as did everyone who went in to investigate.

[Trenton Ricard]

"Hm. La Casa Demoniaca?" Trenton asked after hearing the briefing.
"Small town in Spain. Quite the story at the moment, because all of its inhabitants have dropped off of the face of the Earth, as well as all the investigators sent in. So the U.N. requested someone who won't die as easily, and since it's in your area, you are our lucky winner!" The Chief said, with a tinge of sarcasm in the last sentence.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, bite me." Trenton said as he grabbed his jacket and walked to the deployment room.
"Based on the weird signals we're getting, that might be scarily close to the truth. We're getting very, and I mean VERY faint readings of Fangire." The Chief said.
"Funsies." Trenton said sarcastically, and continued toward the deployment room.

[Patriot]

"La Casa Demoníaca...that's our next assignment?" Kono asked her cousin Chin, they had been selected to investigate some disappearances in this Spanish town which could be related to some Kaijins. The rest of Patriot were elsewhere so it was just Chin and Kono for this mission.

"Yeah...some people have been vanishing without a trace these last few weeks so Wild Space Corp wants us to investigate this and report back with anything we find" Chin replied.

"Still...why us? Why not Tony or McGarreth?" Kono asked.

"Tony is in South America during an undercover sting while McGarreth is in Japan doing some cleaning up" Chin replied, "so its just us two cuz."

"Right..." Kono replied simply as they arrived at the small town.

(PS: Chin and Kono are Fangires, just fyi ^^)

((Just to clarify the name of the weapon is the Ace of Colts, gun of horrors is just the title of the thread.))

The town is quiet as all parties arrive. A thick fog fills the air despite the forecasts of a clear day.

[Trenton Ricard]

"Last time I trust the Spanish weather forecast." Trenton said as he walked into the outskirts of the town, barely able to see. Luckily, he still had a pair of experimental tactical goggles that Jerry, one of Professor Jones's lab assistants, had lent him outside of the deployment room. He flipped them on, and all he saw were the humble buildings of the town. He could pick out the church, but noticed the cross was gone.
"Now that isn't something you see too terribly often." Trenton said, and started moving in that direction, when he bumped into a dude wearing a large black suit of armor.

[Trenton Ricard]

"Oh, is it just that all Muggles look the same or something? Nice meeting you too." Trenton said with a very easily detectable amount of sarcasm in his voice. "Well, I'm not surprised that I'm not the only person curious about what's going on." he observed.

[Trenton Ricard]

"Delightful, a Brit. Oh and by the way, the phrase is 'crackin wise'!" Trenton yelled after the retreating figure. Then he remembered that the dude looked like he wa reading some sort of book, and the book looked like it had a picture of some gun on the page it was open to. Trenton also remembered that it was called the Ace of something. He decided to follow him and see what he was so intent on acquiring.

[Trenton Ricard]

"Damn, you're good. Anyhow, I wanted to see whatever it is you were looking for, the Ace of something. Some gun. Mind giving a humble fellow... empowered human." Trenton said, pausing before the last two words because he couldn't tell where he got his powers from.

[Patriot]

"Nothing so far" Chin said as the pair continued to investigate the area.

"It's too quite" Kono said, "way too quite...I don't like this at all."

[Trenton Ricard]

"Great. I feel so loved." Trenton said sarcastically, then started to walk away. After about a hundred feet, he turned, looked around to be sure no one was watching, then ran behind a house and henshined directly into Raize Form, then leaped directly onto the roof. He pulled up a rudimentary map of the town on his HUD, and pinpointed what he thought was the dude's signal, and followed him on the roofs, hitting the decks quietly as he could whenever he turned.

In the slight illumination of a street light a beautiful woman walks about aimlessly around the street nearest to Trenton and the Black Knight. She moves with a subtle grace it's almost as though she glides across the ground rather than making an effort to walk as most people do.

She approaches the Knight with a wide smile.

Andrea herself makes her presence known to the fangire cousins. Not even bothering with any tact she stomps out from a house, Kivala already perched on her hand ready to bite her. "Human loving scum, you would dare impose yourself upon Checkmate Four business?"

[Waylon Ciers]

"Sir."

"I know...I feel it too," Waylon said, walking with Kivat flying by his side, "Which...which one?"

"I think the Queen."

"I thought so as well," Waylon said, taking off running to find her. He had already faced the King...he needed to at least try the Queen, see what could be done.

"This way!" Kivat shot off down another street. Waylon took off after him.

[Trenton Ricard]

Trenton, watching from a nearby rooftop, was getting a definite "way too fucking good to be true" vibe, so he tapped a couple buttons on the side of his helmet, sending his HUD into detect mode. This queen of supermodels walking toward his British friend REEKED of vamp. Trenton readied his Raize Flash card, in case Tall, Black and British down there needed help.

The woman doesn't say anything to the Black Knight, she just holds out and an expecting hand to him. She doesn't seem to be taking any offensive actions.

A pair of strange fangire step into Waylon's path. The hue of their glass is dark and looks almost stained by a mysterious black ink that seeped into their bodies. "The Queen shall deal with you in time, first she must deal with some other vermin who walked in on us."

[Waylon Ciers]

"So it is the Queen," Waylon said, shaking his head, "I don't like to wait when hunting Fangire. I'll take care of you two first," he said, "Kivat!"

Kivat flew around him, "Ready."

"Bite."

As he was bit, the stained glass marks appeared at his face, "You'll regret standing in my way, and living," Waylon told the Fangire pair.
