This was odd ...
Very odd ...
In the last 48 hours Steve had discovered that he'd travelled into the future, that America won the war, the armed forces were integrated and that everything else he'd fought for had happened. So now what was he supposed to do. He sat on the bed of the small room/cell and sighed.

He didn't feel wonderful though. He'd missed Vietnam, Korea, the Gulf War, Iraq. he'd missed serving his country. So many lives he could've saved if he'd been there to take a bullet, or snipe an enemy or ... or do something.
And he'd spent it as an ice lolly popsicle.

He'd heard someone shout it a couple of times when James had decided to tear a defenceless soldier limb from limb so that the others would "stop griping". Thankfully Proliteriat had stopped him from doing anything too rash.
