Overview:
Mia is a Japanese-American, but feels like she’s as much a Kakuranger as the others. She’s bilingual as a result. She’s a skilled ninja, but doesn’t like to fight, and lacks in her ability to use her claw and her secondary knife. Her skills also tend to leave her confused, though she does have good control over them, oddly enough. She’s smart but distracted due to her age, and only wants the conflict to be over so she can move on with her life.

History

Born to the previous Ninja Yellow (or the person to take up the mantle, should the Door open), and an American woman. Born and raised in America, it was hoped she wouldn’t have to take on the mantle of Ninja Yellow. She was trained regardless over her years of schooling.

When the Door opened, she was still too young, so they kept training her. Her parents had hopes that she would eventually be of use to the Kakurangers in sealing, instead of defending the already opened door. She just went to Japan to meet with the others.

Overview:
Raiden is a cocky man who believes himself to be worthy only of multiple opponents at once. He’s skilled in offensive arts, but lacks in other regards. He’s rich and a bit spoiled as a result, well, very, but a bit in combat, which causes issues. He just wants to end the battle and return to his prosperous life.

History

Born to the last Ninja Blue and a well to do woman, he was born into money. He was privately tutored and learned for years at home, going back and forth between school and his ninja arts. He became well acquainted in education, the arts, and the ninja lifestyle, though from a young age preferred his spoiled, pampered life.

When the Door opened, his father trained him harder offensively, and as such Raiden ignored the other arts for the most part. He continued to grow and became cocky and very entitled. When his father died he received a large sum of money from his mother and began to live on his own, enjoying his life, until it was time to join the fight.

Overview:
Sakura is a strange woman with a fondness and obsession for blood, but also for flowers and for cats. Her flowers come into play as a Hanaranger and due to her namesake, but her cat obsession has come out of nowhere. She’s not a skilled swordsman, but she’s good with her arts. As a woman she acts relatively unassuming and will talk to people, often trying to just learn. She doesn’t often talk about herself, however, but speaks more freely among the Hanarangers, not even among the Youkai.

History

Sakura’s past is unknown. It’s joked that she was once a cat given human form, but the truth of that matter isn’t known. It is still a possibility, but nobody has debunked it. She was drafted into the Youkai approximately seven years ago and was trained as one of their kunoichi in order to contend with the Kakurangers a bit more directly.

She trained to become a ninja and works under Ayame as the Hanaranger of the Sakura, believing she was given her actual name for this reason; that it was destiny to become this warrior. She’s proud of it, and is waiting to face the Kakurangers in battle, and make them bleed.
