Overview:
Gaeriel is usually a peaceful woman, except for when her other side takes over on occasion. She prefers to meditate and talk to her other side, rather than let it take over, enjoying the heat of fires due to her body, and keeping her body limber. She hates to be unable to move or cramped in small areas. She has heightened senses and is able to tell about others feelings at times, being empathetic and watchful. As a fighter she’s self destructive, but otherwise kind and well meaning.

History
Gaeriel was born on Bakura, a planet consisting of a combination of dangerous jungle and civilization. She was born in the civilized areas, born as a lizard-like creature as the people of the planet were. She developed her human form at age five and went through normal life in schooling and learning how to fight in the ancient traditions.
As she grew up she learned how to control her other side; the monster-like side that the people of her planet had as a result of their true forms. By sixteen she no longer had impulses from it, and had become able to fully control it. At eighteen she finished her schooling and started to go out on her own, usually spending time in the jungle in her true form to find peace, and to learn how to better commune with her other side. But she started to relapse and became a brutal fighter and monster, crushing anything in her way.

Gaeriel walked alone in the forest. She knew that her beast side was trying to come out, since she had come here, but she refused to let it emerge. She needed control; she needed to be the dominant one. And she would prove it to her other side.
If she could, she would gain its respect. She would gain its power as well, the ability to assume its form at will without it trying to take control. That was her goal; that was what she wanted. Harmony with it. Peace. Coexistence.
If she could, she would be of the greatest asset to whoever she would end up helping out in the future. A traveler in danger, perhaps? What else was there? There was nothing too bad on this planet…so what would possibly be a source of excitement? There wouldn’t be one, most likely…

History
This beast is from a jungle planet, often in the jungle instead of civilization, for obvious reasons. His past is unknown, as is most. He simply exists within the jungle, fighting anything he can find. Including others of his species.
Currently just getting over some wounds from his last fight, he awaits a worthy foe. Hearing rumors of the Pirates of Lys in the area, he wishes to fight them. He’s also heard of others, and wants to fight these Rangers.

He walked, his feet smashing fallen branches. The jungle was silent around him for now, but he hoped to change that with the screams of his foes. Perhaps something would turn up…he wanted it to. Even another of his people would be an interesting enough fight.
But they disappointed him. Even knowing that, he wanted to fight them. They were a minor challenge, but sometimes they surprised him. He was still hurting from the last one... That had been an amazing fight.
If only someone would come and fight him…
