Okay so this was something I did many months ago.
Power Rangers Techno Paladin
It's set in a world where Power Rangers is an MMORPG, like World Of Warcraft. The different ranger types are classes, like Dino Thunderers, Mystic Warriors, Wind Ninjas, Time Force members etc. etc.
So anyway, the new expansion pack Power Rangers: Core Corruption has just come out! And this one's got new monsters and plotlines revolving around the Network Beasts! So a group of four friends go out to get it, dragging their non-gamer pal Jackson with them. They buy a copy (Even Jackson). They go home and boot up the games at the same time as a freak storm hits.
Not only does it take down the games servers corrupting all the data on them but it releases the Network Generals (Trojan, Worm and Spam) into the real world!
Luckily our five heroes have got some powers themselves, they've become the Techno Paladin power rangers. And they're the only ones who have the power to delete the Network Generals and they're corrupt-data monsters!
It's all my work except the helmets which are courtesy of ShadowDragon from Pixel Grid. The templates are Acatl's work and so is most of the copy and paste stuff of the PC rangers at the end.

So onto the team? Yeah
Jackson Sebille was never really into games, but when his girlfriend Susie asked he decided to go to the midnight launch of Power Rangers: Core Corruption with her. And decided "Hell why not" and got the game anyway. He ran it onto his computer, and that's when the trouble started. Almost as soon as he made his character the storm that released the Network Generals hit and he found himself with a morpher bonded to his wrist.
Jackson's weapons as a ranger were a pair of daggers his zord was the Alpha Zord, which was a tall robot that could combine with any number of the other zords to form the different megazord combinations.
Susan Walker is the geekiest kid in school, but then again, when you go around in dungaree's and write fan fiction about the Power Ranger games, what else can you be? Her boyfriend Jackson isn't really into games but not wanting to go alone she practically dragged him to the Core Corruption launch. Once home she decided to see if the new Ranger Class (Techno Paladin) was any good, but as soon as she got the game back BAM! The storm hit and she woke up the next day with a morpher strapped to her wrist.
Susie's weapon in ranger form was a long battle staff and her zord was the Gamma Zord a yellow fighter jet that could combine with the Alpha Zord to create the Sonic Drop Megazord. Her character before she made a Techno Paladin was named "Quantum Chaos 504"
Kenneth Cross is a gamer at heart. He may act cool and suave but underneath those layers of what he claims is a "New-wave-second-generation-neo-punk-mod" beats the heart of a compulsive RPG player, and one of the best too. Before he bought Core Corruption his character "FangedJoker" was the highest ranked player in the UK, but then his game got wiped by a virus so he had to make a new ranger. Just as it was finished the storm that freed the games monsters hit and he found himself holding a morpher.
In ranger form his weapon was a small discus and his zord was the Beta Zord, a big blue stealth bomber that could form the Stealth King Megazord
Hinaki Saitou a.k.a "That girl who dies her hair green and cosplays as her videogame character" is one of the most hyperactive people to have ever lived, the only time her best friend Susie has seen her sit still is when she was playing on Power Rangers: Ninja Storm so maybe she does it when she plays other games as well? It's hard to tell. Either way, when the new Core Corruption expansion came up Hinaki was there at the midnight launch, buying a copy, rushing home and creating a new ranger, only for a lightning storm to hit and shut off her computer, on the upside, she did wake up with a morpher attached to her.
Her weapon in ranger form was a wrist mounted longbow (If that makes sense) and her zord was the Delta Zord a big green helicopter that can combine with Jackson's Zord to become the Spin Slash Megazord. Her ranger before TP was named "Samurai_Gurl_X99"
Augustus Spencer, better known as "Brick", is one of the nicest people you'll meet. He's on the schools boxing team, the cross country team, the football team. You'd expect him to be super-tough and not have time for games. Ha. You'd be wrong. He's arguably a bigger nerd than Hinaki, even going as far to make a costume for his character in the game (Orenji Tigar 54). Anyway, he got a copy of Core Corruption and decided to go home and make a ranger so he did, unfortunately that was also the day tha- oh you know the rest.
His weapon in ranger form was a hammer and his zord was the Epsilon Zord, a big pink Boeing 71-E lookalike that formed the Blitz Gunner Megazord when combined with the Alpha Zord.
Afti Maninder is Brick's best friend and also a compulsive gamer. Unlike the rest of the team who gained their powers during the storm he got the powers of the Encrypted Ranger by defeating him in battle.
Basically, Susie and Kenneth tried to hack the game so they could try to get a power boost in their morphers but instead unleashed an overpowered prototype who still remained (Kind of). The rangers teamed up with the Network Beasts to try and stop it but failed and were de-morphed almost killed but then Afti ran in and fought it off, fueled with wanting to protect his friends!
His weapon is a big sword and his zord is the Omega Zord which can combine with the Alpha Zord to become the Supreme Megazord or it can combine with the other zords to become suped-up versions of the Sonic Drop, Stealth King, Spin Slash or Blitz Gunner megazords. His original username was "1994 Frozen Phoenix"
