History
Lewa was born in the vast jungles of Harren. Both his parents were travellers who worshipped the Lion God. As such, Lewa followed their example for some time. As he got older, he felt that the Lion God wasn’t the god for him, and he wanted to make his own destiny. During this time, his family settled in the capital of Harren, where an ancient temple stood that was said to contain the Book of Magna, the book in which the words of all gods were written. When he was old enough, Lewa took a job at the temple to support his ailing parents. All day long, Lewa was tasked with cleaning out the temple. This was fine for anyone else, but not Lewa, who wanted to be higher up in there.
That all changed the day Lewa was sent into the tomb to clean it. Lewa did, grudgingly, cleaning out the tomb and paying respects to the dead, until he found it. A page that looked like it had been torn out of a book. It was written in an old language. Curious, Lewa brought it to one of the priests, who was able to translate it. The page had been taken from the book of Magna, and spoke of three gods, the Phoenix God, the Rhino God, and the Shark God, who had gone out into the mortal plane to spread their teachings. Lewa began worshipping the Phoenix God, as he thought that him finding that page was a sign. For his find, he was selected to become a Citadel Guard, watching over the Book of Magna.
When the Pirates of Lys attacked, Lewa and the other Citadel Guard barricaded the temple in order to protect the book. That didn’t stop the Pirates from shooting the temple down. Lewa had gotten out alive, while some of the others weren’t so lucky. Before the Pirates could attack him, a strange group of five spaceships rescued Lewa and got him offworld, before Harren’s Fury. The ship that Lewa had found himself in revealed that these ships held the split essence of the Phoenix God, and that it had rescued Lewa for being its last living devotee. Lewa was granted the Triskelion Caller by the Phoenix God, and they began traversing the galaxy, looking for any sign of the surviving population of Harren.

Lewa sat in the cockpit of one of the ships. Nothing was happening. And it was driving Lewa mad. He wanted to do something, anything. Find a planet and have a drink, find some pirates and blast them to smithereens, even just talk to another ship. Even talking to the Phoenix God got a bit boring at times. Almost all of his conversations involved the Phoenix God lamenting his time away from the other gods.
Frankly it was annoying at times. Lewa yawned and sat back in the cockpit. He stared around at the empty void of space. Somewhere, out there, Harrenians were carrying on their lives. For Lewa, it was quite a boring life, sometimes.
