In the Mountains [Open]

[Amaki]

Amaki sighed. Ibuki wasn't here, neither was Michibiki, Kyoki or Fubuki. This wasn't her first time alone, but she still liked to have someone else here. She was also too new to have a student, so...there wasn't anyone else period.

She sighed, sitting beside a lake on a rock by her tent. She played her whistle, letting it stream through the woods with sound, letting her hawk Disk Animals fly around and glisten in the sun as she waited for something to appear. This Makamou wouldn't come until dark...

[Hikari Rei]

The outdoorswoman followed the trail back towards the lake...hiking through the woods in her usual attire... brown hiking boots, blue jeans...and a brown leather jacket. Her hair was tied up as she carried her pack on her back. This was the forest she would refer to as home, a lot of the time...and she had felt the distress of the animals...and the destruction of numerous small places of energy...indicative of trees...plants....that kind of thing. Then, she heard sound from up ahead...it was a pure sound, unlike what she heard in the city...and decided to press on and investigate.

[Amaki]

One of the hawks started to let out a sound. Amaki lowered her whistle and looked aside, seeing someone appearing in a clearing towards her camp. She got up, the hawks flying down and reverting to disk form.

[Hikari Rei]

She would look to see another figure there...the source of the sound. She continued her walk towards the camp, seeing the Disk Animals revert, showing no hostile intentions, if the newcomer could read people at all.

[Amaki]

"Hi," she said, getting up and walking over, "I'm Amaki," she said, unsure if she should just greet the other woman, or get her out.

[Sanyu Miyazaki]

Sanyu was training in the forest as well, trying to improve his skills so he could better protect Airi the next time they battled together. Samurai Saber in hand, he swung it with diligence, trying to get some advanced swordplay practice.

[Hikari Rei]

"Rei, Hikari, Rei." The woman greeted, looking around. "It is rare to meet another in the mountains....but not unwelcome."

[Amaki]

"Yeah...it is nice," she agreed, having enough light left to at least have some conversation, "Um...Amaki is all I have," she said in explanation for before.

[Hikari Rei]

"That's fine. In my experience, when one travels, they meet a lot of unique people." Rei said with a nod. "I'm an outdoorswoman as well...I can setup camp here with you, or nearby, if you would like. Staying together out like this is important...so no one gets lost. But that's if you want to."

[Amaki]

"I'm used to the woods and mountains," she told Rei, "Um...I wouldn't mind you setting up camp here..."

If she stayed in this area, the Rosutoni and Makamou would be farther away; she'd be fine.

[Hikari Rei]

"Thank you, though I don't want to impose." Rei gave, looking at her. Now that she was close...for some reason this person had the sense of a fighter about her.

[Amaki]

"It's no imposition," she stated, "I...would like the company, actually," she admitted.

[Sanyu Miyazaki]

Sanyu swung his sword when he heard voices. Unsure of what they were, he climbed up a tree in order to hide himself.

[Hikari Rei]

"Then I won't be one to be anti-social." Rei said with a smile to her, bending down to one knee, getting her pack off her back, and placing it to the side. Her coat was open, and the white glint of something in her coat could be seen briefly if Amaki's eyes were quick.

[Amaki]

She saw it, but didn't ask. She looked up in a direction, playing the whistle and sending two hawks towards where Sanyu was hiding.
