Nationality: Japanese
Occupation: Investigative Journalist
Species: Human
Celebrity Claim:Yui Watanabe
Hair color/style:Black, worn long
Eyes: Dark brown
Description: She typically wears button-up shirts, overcoats, and is often seen sporting a flat cap. Occasionally a waistcoat and almost always trousers rather than skirts.
Inside Stuff
Personality: Serious and a little on the short-tempered side. The kind of person who can pick a goal and focus on that, avoiding distractions. She does have a nice side, but it’s not likely to be the one you see first. She likes to think outside the box but in the end, getting things done satisfies her. Crucially, she likes getting things done by herself, which sometimes causes friction with Himari.
Strengths:
- Quick-thinking, able to come up with unusual solutions to problems.
- Inquisitive, able to find out information quickly.
- A capable hand-to-hand fighter even without transforming.
Weaknesses:
- Being an independent sort, this causes occasional issues with her partner.
- Often winds up getting too far into things for her own good due to curiosity, and tends to wind up in danger because of it.
- Tends to skip straight to the unusual rather than thinking about the obvious options first.

Nationality: Japanese
Occupation: None

Hair color/style:Black, short

Inside Stuff
Personality: In contrast to her partner, Himari has lots of patience and rarely gets angry or annoyed. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and has a habit of letting her mind wander. Watching what Hikari does next is one of her hobbies, alongside writing. She always wants to offer help and information to Hikari, but is usually rebuffed.
Strengths:
- Has the ability to access the Planetary Bookshelves. She rarely uses this, because it takes a hit on her stamina every time and pretty much wipes her out.
- A variety of little tricks and skills picked up from spending most of her time at home, such as knitting and many, many card tricks.
- Able to quite easily tell what Hikari’s thinking, even without the use of the Drivers. By the same token, she’s good at picking up on others’ feelings.
Weaknesses:
- Chronically ill, to the point where most of the time she has to stay home, often resting. It’s rare for her to be out.
- Lets her emotions influence her actions too much, which can sometimes lead to her doing reckless things.
- Gets distracted easily and sometimes doesn’t focus, which irritates Hikari.
History: At a young age, Hikari was adopted into Himari’s family to act as her sister, as the two were of the same age and got along surprisingly well. This was shortly after Himari’s health problems started, so Hikari’s task also involved being something of a caretaker. Himari’s abilities to access the Planet Bookshelves manifested shortly afterwards, although initially it was difficult to ascertain the reason Himari ended up with new, inexplicable knowledge after her fainting spells. Once Hikari had succeeded in becoming a journalist, she and Himari set up on their own in Tokyo.
Hikari came by the Double Driver and Memories after an anonymous tip-off while following up an otherwise boring story. They were discovered sealed in a wooden crate in an old storage locker. The contact didn’t give a name or any details, other than that the device could be used to enable Himari to see the world again. Disregarding any potential dangers, Hikari managed to get the Driver to work fairly quickly. Through her work, she already knew of Kamen Riders, and embraced her new responsibility. She was able to trace the item back to the similar Drivers in use in Fuuto, which is where she first encountered the sentient-seeming Xtreme Memory. The bird-like thing followed her home and ever since has hovered around Himari constantly, apparently fond of her due to their shared connection to the Library.
Rider Stuff
Name:Kamen rider JokerJoker
Henshin Device: W Driver and Joker Memories. Himari’s fits in the right slot and has a subtle red accent on the label, whereas Hikari’s fits in the left and has black accents on the label.
Forms:
- Form Name: JokerJoker
Appearance: Much like W, complete with the silver strip down the centre, except both halves are black with purple accents.
Transformation: Both members place their Double Drivers on their waists, then draw out their Gaia Memories. They click them and HImari places hers in, sending it to Hikari. Hikari activates both to become the body while Himari’s mind is sent over, calling out ‘Henshin!’. Wind picks up around Hikari, forming the armour.
Weapons and Abilities: JokerJoker fight with their bare hands and feet. As the Trump Card Memory, Joker grants amazing fighting skill on its user; employing two in tandem means that JokerJoker is an incredible combatant.
Finisher(s): Using either Joker Memory or the artificial GaiaMemories in the Maximum Drive slot on JokerJoker’s right hip yields different Memory Breaks.
*Black Joker- Rider Kick- using Hikari’s black Joker Memory charges energy around the leg for a Rider Kick.
*Red Joker- Rider Punch- using Himari’s red Joker Memory charges energy around the fist for a Rider Punch.
*Bat- Joker Arrow- using the Bat Memory in the Maximum Drive slot creates a larger version of the BatShot around JokerJoker’s left hand, with the camera lense facing forward and the wings outstretched like a bow. This fires arrows of purple energy.
*Spider- Joker Web- using the Spider Memory in the Maximum Drive slot creates spider-leg claws on JokerJoker’s hands. These can project web to cocoon the enemy while JokerJoker slashes them repeatedly.
*Stag- Joker Breaker- using the Stag Memory in the Maximum Drive slot creates a large metal pincer on each wrist, which JokerJoker slashes in an X shape onto the enemy or simply crushes them.
[pic used taken from deviantArt, will replace with custom trace soonish] - Form Name: WildJoker
Appearance: as above, except the entire suit is jagged and spikey as per FangJoker.
Transformation: WildJoker is accessed through a state of mind rather than a regular Henshin sequence. First used when Hikari gave in to Joker’s power and fuelled by her rage, it can now be accessed through a form of meditation.
Weapons and Abilities: WildJoker is the more feral and unrestrained form yielded when the Joker Memories’ unconscious power is unleashed, usually through rage. Consequently, this form has greater brute strength and speed but less finesse, and fights more savagely even when Hikari and Himari have full control.
Finisher(s): As for JokerJoker - Form Name: JokerJokerXtreme
Appearance: Exactly as CycloneJokerXtreme, except the green-and-gold half is black-and-purple.
Transformation: The bird-like Xtreme Memory absorbs Himari as data, then flies to Hikari’s location. The W Driver then closes and ejects both Joker Memories, which the Xtreme Memory also absorbs before combining with the W Driver and folding open. The silver strip along JokerJoker’s middle opens out, and the armour transforms.
Weapons and Abilities: JokerJokerXtreme carries the Prism Sword and Bicker Shield, with the Prism Memory.
Finisher(s):
*Double Xtreme- opening and closing the Xtreme Memory causes Double to perform a powered-up Rider Kick.
*Prism Break- the charged slash caused by using the Prism Memory in the Prism Sword.
*Bicker Charge Break- By using a Joker Memory in the Bicker Shield, JokerJoker can link its powers with up to three other Memories. This attack normally can’t be used.
Other Equipment:
- Hikari carries a Bat Shot camera, Spider Shock watch and Stag Phone. Himari also has a Stag Phone.
- Hikari rides a black motorcycle accented with purple called the Machine Joker.
Anything Else: I'm going to get their names mixed up at some point in the future, but I regret nothing
Sample RP:
'Well, this is getting nowhere fast.' Hikari snapped her phone shut, folding her arms and wondering how much longer she'd have to wait outside this drab place. Clearly, the individual she was here to see had no intention of turning up. Which was a pain, since she needed him to go over the story again before she could finish the article.
'Being an hour late should be a crime.' She nodded to herself, deciding to start going home anyway. 'Clearly he doesn't want me looking into this thing too closely. Very suspicious. I wonder what he's linked to...'
Most likely, it was for some other mundane reason, but that would be boring.
The phone went off, so she picked it from her pocket and put it to her ear.
'Oginome here.'
'Oginome here.' Himari mimicked on the other end. 'Still waiting?'
'I'm heading home. Looks like he's a no-show.' Hikari sat down on her bike, fiddling with the helmet. 'I smell a conspiracy, though.'
'As per usual.' Over the phone, she could hear Himari smiling. '...I could find out where he is?'
Hikari shook her head. 'No, don't. I can find him tomorrow myself. Just a matter of following my nose.'
