- Her knowledge isn’t good on anything other than common Makamou. So in the rare times they get a rarer species, she can’t help, and she hates it
- She sometimes likes to stop and talk to the Takeshi members stationed wherever they go. By that, I mean, she likes to lose track of time and often end up late

Overview:
Kasumi is a supportive woman by nature. She wants to help, and knows she can’t do anything on her own in this fight against the Makamou and the Rosutoni. She’s willing to put her all into helping the Oni, and only wants to be looked upon as an equal in some regards; as she’s willing to risk herself. She hates it when an Oni doesn’t listen to her, especially when she knows what she’s talking about. She often tries to befriend the female Oni, as she finds it somewhat amazing that they become Oni. She doesn’t dislike male Oni by any means; she just finds more in common with the women. She has trained herself to remember a lot of details, and tries to memorize what she can of the rarer information, but not as well. She enjoys any teahouse that she come upon in the field – Takeshi bases most of the time – and often talks too long to the other Takeshi members.

History
Kasumi’s parents were members of Takeshi, so she grew up knowing what her destiny would be. She chose from a young age that she would continue her parents work at Takeshi. She spent her childhood being homeschooled on both normal topics, and on Takeshi topics by one parent or the other, as the other would be out helping Oni.
She would often visit Takeshi bases in her childhood to get a better feel for things. Over the years, she started to befriend Oni. She spent more time at bases than at home in her later years. When she became nineteen, she was allowed to go and work as support in the field, with a parent to learn. At twenty, alone.
She attracted the attention of Ibuki at this point. She refused his advances, and he seemed to accept. He tried a few more times, and still tries, but she ignores him. Habataki as well, but he’s more accepting of that fact. She’s recently befriended Fubuki and Amaki, and has met Syuki, but hasn’t talked enough to her yet. Most of the time, as of late, she’s partnered with Kyoki, who views her well, as an equal. He’s probably her favorite partner to support, as he’s always insightful.
She’s still jumping between Oni on her missions.

“No, Ibuki-kun,” she told him.
“You call me ‘kun’,” he pointed out, crossing his arms over his chest as he followed her, “You’re really sending mixed signals.”
“I’m not sending mixed signals,” she told him, “It’s respectful. I respect the Oni.”
“Still, mixed,” he pointed out.
“Not really,” she said.
He shrugged, “I digress…anyway, why not, Kasumi-chan?”
She didn’t mind that, “Because…”
“Because why?” he questioned her, “You have to have a reason for not wanting to go out with someone so…”
“Excessive?”
“I was going to say ‘dashing’,” he pointed out. After a few moments of silence, “What, am I not dashing?”
“You are…,” she had to admit.
He smiled and walked towards her, hooking an arm through hers, “Then why not?”
“There’s more than just that, Ibuki-kun,” she told him, slipping her arm out and walking off.
He looked after her, “Stop that!” she called, so he smiled and turned, walking the other way.
