Overview:
Zanki is a very hard worker, willing to go into battle against those enemies who aren’t even his type to fight. He’ll do any job for Takeshi if something needs defeating. He has a passion for justice and for saving others, hence his constant fighting. This fighting has left a serious strain on his body, basically ruining it, but yet he fights on. He hates the young who don’t appreciate their youth, as they won’t have his problems for years to come. He loves tea, as it’s soothing, but hates alcohol, as it does nothing to help, with the exception of some wines. He’s a powerful lightning user and combatant; once fighting he goes all out, ignoring his pain and body. He’s unable to contend with ranged fighters, and often works alone, making some problems for himself with that philosophy.

Henshin Sequence: Zanki lifts his left arm up an pulls the Kigen Onka down, revealing a few chords. He plucks his finger across, sending out soundwaves as he draws his arm up, putting the device over his forehead. His Oni face appears, and then he lifts his arm up, sending lightning striking down around him, forming his Oni body.

Fighting Style: Zanki fights with a wilder style revolving around two handed swings of his guitar combined with lightning coursing through it to stun and rip at his enemies.
Weapons: OngekiShingen Retsuzan; his guitar. He also has his claws to deploy; nearly unbreakable.
Abilities: He can infuse lightning into his strikes for stunning the enemy. He’s stronger, faster and more resilient as an Oni. He has healing abilities as well.

Transformation: When in a pinch, Zanki can pluck the strings of his Onka again and thrust his arm up, sending lightning down to swirl around him. He dispels it with a cast of his arm to the side, revealing this form.
Fighting Style: In this form, he relies on both of his weapons. He relies on dual wielding, using his larger weapon for close range attacks, to pour power in, instead of weaker, longer ranged attacks. He uses the long one blade out, the normal guitar blade down.
Weapons: OngekiShingen Retsuzan, his normal guitar. OngekiShingen Rensazan, his massive guitar blade.
Abilities: The same as before, but his healing is faster, his lightning is stronger, and his stats are all around improved.
Finisher(s): Ongeki Zan Raiden Zanshin: Zanki stabs his weapon into the body of a large Makamou and changes is into its guitar form. He begins playing the guitar as fast as he can, causing electricity to flow from his body into the body of the Makamou, slowly causing its organs to expand and eventually explode. With his Rensanzan, chains rip through the Makamou for extra damage.

History
Born to a wealthy family, he had everything he wanted in life. He had an ideal lifestyle where everything was handed to him until the age of fifteen, during which his parents shipped him off to a distant relative, as he had become too spoiled. Ryosuke argued, but it was no use.
This relative happened to live out in the country. And happened to be an Oni. Meeting his relative – Yamabuki. Yamabuki started to tear about Ryosuke’s lifestyle and forced him to train and live as he did; planning on making him an Oni with the permission of Ryosuke’s parents, who helped to fund Takeshi. Ryosuke didn’t take to this, but after a year of being forced to, he warmed up to it.
Through the years he continued. He grew as a man and as an Oni, eventually becoming Zanki at age eighteen. He took up his new name and abandoned his old life, joining Takeshi as a guitar user. He left Yamabuki and started out on his own, at a dwelling provided by Takeshi for the time.
To show his willingness, he took on any assignment, becoming respected highly for his abilities at defeating most types of Makamou. As he kept going out to any call, his body began to weaken and be destroyed from his Oni form. He put up with it and continued, often working alone, no apprentice. He wanted to be alone in his suffering.
He met Ibuki, and hated him for having a better body at only one year younger. He met Kyoki, finding a kindred spirit of sorts in the way of the body. Around this time, by training with Kyoki, he unlocked a further power as an Oni; the ability to harness more lightning to become Master Zanki; taking on that form instead of taking on an apprentice to actually become a master.
He’s currently active in Japan.

Sample RP:
Two shots. Why did it have to be a trumpet user? He kept behind the trees, holding his guitar in his hand and already in his Oni form. He would have to make this count.
There. The shots had changed direction; the target moved. He got up and ran in that direction, swinging his guitar in front of himself to try to block, at least cutting one enemy stone in half, taking the other to his right thigh. He fought through the pain; like always.
When he reached the area, he leapt, slashing. Lightning rippled out, stunning the leg of the Rosutoni who attempted to flee. He slid to a stop and swung his guitar out with his left hand to make the swing connect and carry through, cutting the enemy down.
He lay there, dying, cut nearly in half from Zanki’s attack. He looked at it for a moment, then span the weapon around and drove the tip through, impaling and killing the enemy. He kept it for a moment, then pulled the weapon free and walked off.
Then, and only after he returned to his human body, did he allow himself to stumble into a tree. He panted hard…but moved on.
