Overview: Barbossa was grim and rough-edged, to say the least, but he had a knack for dry humor. He was also very inspiring when it came to pep-talking his mates and was never short some wise advice. At his worst he was cruel, manipulative, and bloodthirsty. He could be merciless and often turned agreements to his own favor,vbut nevertheless he stated that he had a merciful nature and sense of fair play, though this was possibly only an example of his morbid sense of humour.

He was not completely without honor, however; he claimed to be a man of his word, and defied the Pirate King when told not to free Calypso, in order to fulfill his promise of freeing her. He considered himself a gentleman of the seas and could act polite if he wished; he possessed a certain eloquence, which he frequently used to his advantage. Being a vain person, Barbossa liked to wear fine clothes and enjoyed setting himself in scene and holding powerful speeches, for example in the cave at Isla de Muerta or on the Brethren Court. Like many other pirates he considered the Pirate Code to be "more guidelines than actual rules", but nevertheless he respected the right of Parley and preferred interpreting the Code in his own favor instead of breaking it openly.

Barbossa had an apparent fearlessness, which could be interpreted by some as suicidal insanity–much to the dismay of his crew, he did not hesitate to sail right over the waterfalls at World's End, nor did he show much concern for sailing the Pearl straight into the huge whirlpool created by Calypso.

  Barbossa was formerly a pirate that roamed the space-sea fighting off the various bounty hunters and other pirate crews that wish to dominate the entire region however one day his entire crew was killed off by the Royal Marines, part of a space-like UN that was created to eliminate space-pirates though they are not part of the Zangayark Empire, and he was about to be executed for piracy when he was given a chance for redemption; go to Earth and capture or kill all of the Gokaigers and not only will Barbossa be pardoned for his crime but he will also receive the bounties for the Gokaigers…of course the ultimate prize being none other than Captain Harlock himself. Sensing a great reward unimaginable Barbossa agreed and he was given command of the battleship Normandy as well as his own personal fighters consisting of William Turner, Elizabeth Swan and James Norrington.

Overview: William Turner was a very brave and noble man who was willing to risk his life for people he cared about. He was extremely loyal, especially to Elizabeth Swann and he claimed that he would die for her if he had to. William was polite and humble to those higher ranked than himself but he was rarely congratulated or complimented during his time as a blacksmith. James Norrington noted that Will possessed a rash personality and Will was willing to break the law if he felt it was necessary. For example he freed Jack Sparrow from prison after Elizabeth was captured by pirates and later saved Jack from being executed. Will was also a man of his word and if he made a promise he would always stick to it. He promised to free his father from the Flying Dutchman and didn't give up until he had fulfilled that promise.

History

William Turner was born to a blacksmith family that was quite influential in Planet Armarda as they provided the Royal Marines with the equipment they use, it is also through this connection that he met with Elizabeth Swan and James Norrington, both of which he cherishes and wish to protect dearly. He also enrolled in the Royal Marine Academy along with Elizabeth and James eventually rising through the ranks to that of a 2nd Lieutenant, he then proposed to Elizabeth Swan during that time and is now engaged to her though James have constantly tried to woo her and make her change her mind.

Soon after his promotion William, Elizabeth and James was ordered to join Captain Barbossa and help him capture Captain Harlock and have him hanged in the gallows for piracy, William was appalled that the Federation should go as low as hire a pirate captain but he continued to follow his orders and now is second-in-command of the Normandy.

Overview: Elizabeth Swann was a strong willed and independant woman and was considered by many to be very beautiful. Her beauty attracted the attention of several men including Will Turner, who would later become her husband, Hector Barbossa, James Norrington, and Sao Feng. Jack Sparrow also showed quite a bit of interest in her. Elizabeth would often speak her mind even if it meant offending others; for example she called a potentially dangerous enemy, Sao Feng, a coward right to his face. Elizabeth was a bit of a tomboy and was a brave and resourceful woman. During her brief reign as Pirate King, Elizabeth proved to be very charismatic and encouraged the Pirate's to face off against Cutler Beckett's fleet, which showed that she had a talent for leadership.

History

Born into a naval family Elizabeth’s life was one of constant training and exercise, her father had decided that she would join the Royal Marines when she became of age just as her father had done. Although her mother had tried to convince his mind, because Elizabeth was the only child, her father had no choice but to send her to the Royal Marines since it was dictated that the oldest child in the Swann family and since her mother was unable to produce any more children after Elizabeth it was up to her to continue the family tradition.

Therefore she joined the Royal Marine academy alongside William Turner and Jack Norrington, both of who were childhood friends, she worked hard to prove herself to the other cadets that a woman could do just the same as men, even if the cadets didn’t consider her weaker then them, she graduated with full honours and was able to be promoted to the rank of Captain but she was beaten by James who had managed to get a rank higher than her. It was also at the same time that William proposed to her and since then they had become engaged though James constantly tries to woo her.

Soon after she, along with William and James, was tasked to pursue Harlock and the Gokaigers for piracy under the command of Barbossa; although hesitant to accept commands from a pirate she agreed to the plan on capturing Harlock since he was the most powerful space-pirate and therefore is a threat to the Federation’s goal of keeping the peace.

History

James was born into a naval family, one that was highly distinguished in Planet Armarda, he was expected to be the best and to become the best in all things possible and James never disappointed them as he achieved everything he did elegantly and with poise, just like a true Royal Marine, it was also around this time that he met with his childhood friend Elizabeth Swann and his future rival, William Turner, he instantly fell in love with Elizabeth and he often tried to win her love but unfortunately he fell short when William beat him to the punch and he proposed to Elizabeth to which she accepted.

Knowing that this was not too big of a loss since he had accepted William as an honourable man and one worthy of Elizabeth’s love he has now dedicated himself to beating William by impressing Elizabeth, a feat he has so far failed, therefore it came to no surprise to many that he had decided to join William and Elizabeth in their quest to capture Harlock alongside the infamous Captain Barbossa.

History: The Normandy was a project created by the Federation to serve as their flagship against the pirates which were becoming more and more frequent throughout the galaxies, without a proper way to combat them they decided to use the Normandy as a general-purpose battleship that would host a variety of fighter ships and bombers that are designed specifically to destroy pirate ships which are normally lightly armoured but fast enough to avoid most of the Federation's battleships.

After years of design and testing the Normandy was finally ready for implementation, it was also during this time that the Federation became aware of the Gokaigers and most importantly Captain Harlock who had become a menace to the Federation, thinking that it was the best time to test their design they decided to send the Normandy to Earth to capture them and have them arrested.
