Overview: Soukichi is a very calm and collected individual, which is one of the reasons why he was chosen to become Gavan. Because of his former profession as a detective, he is very protective of the people who ask for it, especially those that remind him of former clients. Despite his rather hard-boiled exterior, though, he actually has a bit of a half-boiled side, which is rarely shown. This part of him usually shows when talking with those he cares about dearly.

  • Laser Z Beam - Gavan uses his right index and middle fingers to release small blue laser triangles to destroy a monster.
    
  • Silver Beam - A lightning-like beam emanating from Gavan's right hand that he uses to strike enemies.
    
  • Laser Blade - Gavan's mighty sword which is at first normal, with a steel blade. He later transforms it into a light blue blade, which is required to perform the Gavan Dynamic.
    
  • Gavan Punch - A powerful punch.
    
  • Gavan Kick - A powerful right leg kick.
    
  • Dimension Bomber - A technique Gavan uses against large groups of enemies. It consists of flying and giving many punches as possible.

Other Equipment:

• Dolgiran - Gavan's main spaceship, which consists of two parts: The main part is a giant saucer, and the second part transforms into Dol. He uses this to transform into Gavan.
  
• Cyberian - A red Suzuki motorcycle with a sidecar that comes from the Dolgiran to Gavan's current location. However, it has worn down with age.
  
• Electronic Starbeast Dol - Dol forms from the second part of the Dolgiran and becomes a powerful mechanical dragon which supports Gavan. Gavan commands Dol from a place on its head. Gavan uses Dol mostly to destroy Makuu spacecraft. Its attacks include Dol Fire (Dol breathes out fire from its mouth), Dol Kick (uses its front feet to clamp down pesky fighters), Dol Laser (laser beams from Dol's eyes), and Tail Attack (Dol's tail whipping fighters attacking from behind).
  
• Gyabion - Gavan's private tank. Like Dol, he stands up on the tank and commands it. This heavy vehicle is quite deadly thanks to all its lasers and cannons. Scooper is contained inside.
  
• Scooper - A drill machine capable of underground transport.

History

Sokichi Narumi was a former detective working in the city of Fuuto in his world before he was chosen by Qom, the Galactic Union Police leader, to become Space Sheriff Gavan, and was assigned to protect Earth from those who threatened it. For nearly 20 years, he had been fulfilling the duty entrusted to him, and had fought against numerous threats to his home. However, he had also made quite a number of foes...

On a return trip to Planet Bird, an enemy of the Galactic Union Police intercepted the Dolgiran, attacking it with an experimental weapon that would supposedly create a black hole. The weapon hit the ship, damaging it and sending it inside, apparently destroying it. In actuality, the ship was sent to an alternate universe, on a crash course toward Earth. With no one to turn to on this new world, Sokichi must now fight alone as Space Sheriff Gavan.

Sample RP: Sokichi woke up to find his ship out of power. Picking himself off of the ground, he looked around to examine the damage. Thankfully, there wasn't enough internal damage to the ship; without power, though, he would be unable to transform into Gavan. Deciding that the best course of action would be to get a look at his surroundings, he exited his ship, only to find...

"Earth?" Sokichi asked himself as he saw the environment his ship landed in. If he were here, then...

However, his thoughts were interrupted with a pain in his chest. He put his hand over it and slumped just a little. "Damn..." he muttered, before straightening himself. He'd just have to tough it out until he got to Dekabase. Maybe the Dekarangers would assist him.
