"Yeah, you might wanna go ahead and dig in, this is a long story." Shane said, explaining quite simply that he was a ninja and ended up here because of enemy alliances...and now he was Kaoru's guest at the dinner table.

Kaoru mentally facepalmed at how Kasumi was acting... despite the fact that this is normal behavior for her.
