Name: Arthur Ingram
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Nationality: British
Occupation: Student, (currently taking a gap year)
Species: Human
Celebrity Claim: Lucien Laviscount
Hair color/style: Black and very, very, very short.
Eyes: Brown
Description: Arthur is a young black university student with really short hair and a fondness for leather (Not like that). He dresses casually (T-shirts, jeans etc.) but always has his trademark leather jacket with him, if not wearing it then it'll be tied around his waist. Since he's on a gap-year he carries a rucksack with loads of stuff in it with him. His usual footwear is motorcycle boots but he sometimes wears a battered pair of converse.
Rider Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Sonnet
Henshin Device/Sequence: Arthur transforms with the aid of a grey belt-buckle with a red jewel in the middle called the Sonnet Driver. All he needs to do is place the Sonnet Driver on his waist where it'll create a brown leather belt that goes all around his waist (If someone's a bit too close then the belt will whip at them to try and force them off him). Arthur then places a small key (Called a Trigger Key) into the top of the driver and turns it, this causes a Tudor Rose to appear in the floor and then travel up from the ground creating the armour as it passes over his body.
Forms:
- Form Name: Hamlet Form
Appearance: A black leather undersuit (if that makes sense)with dark grey shin and forearm guards over similarly coloured gloves and boots and a chestplate in the same colour (Not really a chestplate, think of the chest armour that they had in Kamen Rider The First). You can't really see any of this because over the top of it is a black reversible trenchcoat with a long grey pointed line on each sleeve reaching from the wrist to the shoulders. The belt is underneath this. Sonnets helmet is a rounded black helmet with no features save for a dark grey mouth piece and a pair of large red eyes.
Transformation: See above, Arthur uses the Hamlet Trigger Key to transform into Hamlet Form.
Weapons and Abilities: The Hamlet Form has no special Weapons or abilities other than an increased strength and speed compared to normal humans.
Finisher(s): This forms primary finisher is the "Ophelia Break" Rider Kick. By placing the Kick Trigger Key into his belt and turning it red lightning begins dancing over Arthur's feet, this allows him to destroy most enemies with one kick. While the energy is around his feet he can run slightly faster.
He can also perform the "Horatio Break" Rider Punch (or Chop) through the use of the Punch Trigger Key. His gloves glow red and gain similar properties allowing him to obliterate nearly anything with either (or both hands). - Form Name: Benedick Form
Appearance: The Benedick form looks similar to the Hamlet Form except the guards on his chest arms and legs are dark green with vine patterns engraved on them. The boots and gloves have a slightly grey-ish tinge and the lines on the coat have disappeared, replaced with a dark green vine image travelling up the left and right arms and meeting in the back where they form the outline of a rose. The eyes on the helmet have turned green.
Transformation: See Above, Arthur changes into Benedick Form through the Benedick Trigger Key.
Weapons and Abilities: Benedick Form is much quicker than the other forms it can run at incredible speeds and is fast enough to run over water and even sheer surfaces like walls or ceilings. (It can't stick to them and has to remain moving to run up them). This forms main armament is a pair of long sharp daggers called the "Benedaggers". The two daggers can be attached together at the handles, to become a bow ("Hunter Mode") this makes a grip appear in the middle and allows it to shoot energy arrows at rapid speeds.
Finisher(s): Benedick Form can perform the Ophelia Break and Horatio Break through the use of the Kick and Punch Trigger Keys but it has it's own finishers as well:
By using the Slash Trigger Key the Benedagger's blades charge with dark red energyenergy, in dagger mode he can perform the "Beatrice Break" as a series of rapid slashes that cut the enemy to ribbons if he uses the Slash Key while they're in Hunter Mode then the he runs the enemy through with the blades of the weapon ("Beatrice Break"). With the use of the Shoot Key while in Hunter Mode Arthur fires a super charged energy arrow (Made of dark red lightning) straight through his target, this attack is called the "Claudio Break". He also has one more finisher which is a powered up version of the Ophelia Break that uses green lightning and is called the "Jades Trick". - Form Name: Macbeth Form
Appearance: In Macbeth form the top half of the jacket disappears, the bottom half attaches to the belt and a red and grey tartan pattern appears over it. This form has a large bulky, red chest piece that protects the shoulders, back and chest. It has scars and pits all over it (as have the shin guards). The eyes have gone to a slightly paler red. The boots are a sort of greyish red.
Transformation: See Above, Arthur transforms through the use of the Macbeth Trigger Key.
Weapons and Abilities: What this form lacks in speed it makes up for by being almost invulnerable and exceptionally strong. Macbeth Forms weapons are fairly unusual as far as weapons go. It's left and right gloves have been replaced with a pair of bulky red gauntlets which have been heavily scarred and damaged, these are called the "Macbashers"
Finisher(s): Macbeth form can perform the "Ophelia Break" through the use of the Kick Trigger Key, but unlike Hamlet Form the Punch Trigger Key activates Macbeth forms own unique finisher. The hands crackle with energy and Arthur slams both fists into the ground and then pulls it apart creating a chasm that the enemy falls into, he can then pull the earth back together and squish the target. This finisher is named the "Lady Break". - Form Name: Romeo Form
Appearance: Romeo form looks like Hamlet Form (surprise, surprise) but the eyes and body armour have turned a deep purple. The chestplate and guards over his shins and forearms are decorated with a pattern, on the right side a swirling branch with flowers all over it is embossed into them, on the left side a sharper bare branch is engraved into it. This appears on the coat too, the patterns travel across his arms and meet on the back where they wrap around each other. The boots and gloves are a sort of grey-ish purple.
Transformation: See Above, Arthur changes into Romeo form with the Romeo Trigger Key.
Weapons and Abilities: The Romeo Form is the weakest form, it doesn't increase Arthur's strength or speed at all. But it does heighten his sense of smell, sight, hearing, taste (kind of a moot point, he can't eat without removing the helmet) and touch (even through the gloves) to superhuman levels and allows him to "fade" into the background unnoticed (Like a perception filter, everyone ignores him, even normal civilians, until he does something drastic or isn't among chaos/crowds). Romeo Forms main weapon is the "Reomeovolver" a large purple revolver about the size of a rocket launcher but light enough to be held one handed, the gun fires a seemingly infinite supply of bullets (despite only having six chambers). The right side of the gun has a flowered branch embossed into it while the other side has a bare branch scratched into it.
Finisher(s): Although Romeo Form is capable of performing the Ophelia Break and Horatio Break of Hamlet Form it has it's own finisher "Juliet Break". By placing the Shoot Trigger Key into his belt the gun begins sparking with red electrical energy, next time he pulls the trigger Arthur is flung back by recoil as six energy bullets are launched from the gun and simultaneously hit his enemy causing a massive explosion.
Form Name: Chaos Romeo
Appearance: Almost identical to Hamlet form however the coat isn't there at all and the pattern on the right side of the armour is directly on top of it. It also changes into chains that come out of his sleeve, around his arm and into the Chaos Gun in his hand.
Transformation: If Arthur holds the Chaos Gun then his transformation into Romeo form is affected. As he transforms chains appear from the gun's side, wrap around his forearm and then "merge" into his shoulder.
Weapons And Abilities: As Romeo Form but with a few variations. His senses have been enhanced to superhuman levels, Arthur becomes fully aware of everything short of a persons thoughts within a two metre radius. Everything.
The power to "blend" into his surroundings remains but Arthur's found a problem. Doing this in a dark or shadowy area pulls him into the darkness around him. He is able to move through shadows quickly and appear out of another one. However he isn't used to losing all his body mass so it has an adverse effect on him.
As Chaos Romeo is not a "True" Sonnet form he cannot summon the demonic, hellfire spewing Chaos Gun that he is armed with in Othello mode.
Finisher(s): Chaos Blight, This finisher does not require a trigger key to use. Arthur wills the chains on the Chaos Gun to break and they snap off on his arm, each one latching onto a shadow, the shadows travel through the chains into the gun and are fired out as a large energy blast. The blast hits it's target absorbs them into a nightmarish shadow world where they want to scream but can't and then spreads into a normal shadow. - Form Name: Cesario Form
Appearance: Cesario Form is almost identical to Hamlet Form, however the eyes have turned light blue, the black parts have changed to a very dark navy blue (It's almost hard to tell that those bits have changed colour), a checker-board pattern has appeared on the armour guards and the lines on the coat don't stop at the shoulders, after they reach the shoulders they travel backwards to the tail of the coat (that has also split into two tails)
Transformation: Similar to the other transformations, in that a Tudor Rose rises up from the ground and changes the armour, except after this transformation Arthur splits into two different bodies. Arthur transforms into Cesario form via the Cesario Trigger Key.
Weapons and Abilities: Cesario Form's most obvious ability is the fact that it is two different bodies. Both bodies can fight independently and don't have to mimic each others moves but they do feel each others pain and share Arthur's mind. It's a bit of a strain because Arthur has to focus to control both bodies, the form can only last a few seconds before Arthur exhausts himself and it automatically reverts back to Hamlet Form. Each body has full access to all of Sonnet's Trigger Keys.
Finisher(s): Cesario Form (or forms) have to perform their finishers at the same time, either a kick attack (courtesy of the Kick Key) called the "Olivia Break" or by using the Punch Trigger Key a Rider Punch/Chop (or a combination thereof) called the "Orsino Break" unlike the other forms (where both hands or feet light up) only one limb becomes charged on each body, one will have their left limb charged the other the right. They can either perform a dual kick, dual punch or one punches and one kicks etc. etc. They can also use the Shoot Key as a finisher called the "Viola Break" where one body picks up the other and throws it at a target. - Form Name: Oberon Form
Appearance: In Oberon form the eyes remain red but the shin and forearm guards turn black and feathers grow out of them, the feathers on the arms run up the riders arms and down his back. The coat has become torn with the buttons falling out and remains open. A pair of feathered horns come out of the side of the helmet and claws appear at the ends of the boots (three small grey spikes) and on the knuckles of the gloves (three small grey spikes).
Transformation: To turn into Oberon Form, Arthur places the Oberon Key into the driver and turns it. Unlike the normal transformation sequence a Tudor Rose does not appear, instead several small clockwork looking fairies fly down and start to fly over the armour making the feathers grow out of it and ripping the coat.
Weapons and Abilities: Oberon Form's main armament is four mechanical fairy-like figures named Cobweb (a black fairy with grey wings and no hands, just points), Mustardseed (a yellow fairy with no wings that rides around on Cobweb's back), Peablossom (A pink fairy with a tail and transparent wings) and Moth (a grey fairy with very ornate wings). Each Fairy has a slot on it's back to use a Trigger Key, most keys don't work but the ones that do cause some interesting things to happen.
Finisher(s): Oberon can place a Finisher Key into the back of one of the fairies that will make it perform a mini-kick or a mini-punch (the Shoot and Slash Keys don't work because they don't have a weapon to use. These attacks are really weak and don't do much other than stun his enemy and haven't got names other than "Fairy's Name Break" (Mustardseed Break, Cobweb Break etc.). Oberon Form can perform two finishers with either the Punch Key or the Kick Key. The Rider Kick is "Titania Break" where the fairies start to fly around the target stunning it and keeping it from moving to far, Arthur's legs become energised with red lightning and he jumps at the target, kicking it. The Other Finisher is activated with the Punch Trigger Key, "Puck Break" involves Arthur grabbing his opponent by the neck shoulder or anything else he can with one hand and then tearing something out of them with his left (hearts normally but he can tear medals out of Greeed and people out of possessed stuff). - Form Name: Iago Form
Appearance: Iago Form is jet black with the exception of the eyes which remain red, and several nasty scars across the forearm, shin and chest guards which have fire and sparks licking out of them. The guards on his arms cover the gloves and three very long claws come out of his knuckles. His boots grow longer and curl up like Jester shoes and a long point appears at the front of his helmet with a red jewel in the middle of it (right on his forehead). The Jacket drops to the floor and burns away and a pair of large batlike wings sprout from Arthur's back.
Transformation: By placing the Iago Key in the Sonnet Driver a black Tudor Rose falls from the sky and passes over Arthur turning him into a blacked out version of Hamlet form with narrower eyes and no coat, there is a pause and then the fire starts to burn behind the cracks in his armour, the horn grows out of his head, the claws out of his hands and the wings sprout from his back.
Weapons and Abilities: In Iago form Arthur loses all traces of morality and is overcome by the urge to fight. And he can back it up, freakishly intelligent and manipulating, and extremely strong. Iago form fights using the Bard Sabre (See below) and fights with brutal efficiency, slicing down anything in his path.
Finisher(s): By using the Slash Trigger Key Iago's sword becomes charged with red lightning and he can use the "Rodrigo Break" where he spins round in a circle slashing at anything unlucky enough to be in range. With the Kick Trigger Key he can execute the "Emilia Break" where he takes off into the sky and then comes down on his opponent, his left leg charged with red energy. - Form Name: Othello Form
Appearance: In Othello form the forearm guards and the chestplate have gone a lighter shade of grey appear on top of the trenchcoat (which has turned white). the eyes of the armour turn bright blue and a bright blue circle appears on the back of the coat, a pair of lines extend to the shoulder blades and then stop to allow a pair of feathered wings to emerge from his back. Engraved into the bottom of the shin guards, top left corner of the chestplate and at the top of the forearm guards is a little strawberry. Othello forms eyes are bright blue and the majority of the helmet is white but apart from that it remains unchanged.
Transformation: Othello form is activated by placing the Othello Trigger Key into either the Sonnet Driver or the Bard Sabre. A Tudor Rose appears above Arthur and travels down changing his armour to a "blank version" then the eyes flash blue and the wings appear out of the back of his armour. He can also change straight out of Iago form in a sort of "explosion" where the black parts of Iago fly off of him revealing the true form underneath.
Weapons and Abilities: This is Sonnet's most powerful form, even though it's only as strong as Hamlet Form it can fly and has the added advantage of being able to use every other form's powers and abilities thanks to the Bard Sabre's three extra keyholes and can usually use several at the same time, Cesario's split ability + Benedick's speed + Romeo's gun etc. etc. etc. Due to the size of some of the weapons he often has to leave the Bard Sabre in the ground and fight around it.
Finisher(s): Othello Form can execute any other rider's finisher (It can call up the Benedaggers and use their finisher etc. etc.) he can even perform modified versions of the attack (With different keys like Jump or Barrier added) but it also has a few finishers of it's own. The first finisher is "Desdemona Break" where Sonnet takes off into the air, uses the Kick Trigger Key and then comes down like a tonne of bricks on something, his feet charged up with blue lightning. He can also combine them with other keys like Fire or Ice to add extra damage to them. His second attack "Cassio Break" is used via the Slash Trigger Key and after the blade charges with blue energy Arthur brings it down and finishes them off, he can also add the Fire or Storm Keys to it to perform different versions of the attack.
"Strawberry Check" is an attack where Arthur throws his target into the air with his sword, the attack runs off of the Slash, Jump and Fire Trigger keys.
Other Equipment:
- The Trigger Keys:
[li]Trigger Key Hamlet Transforms Arthur into his Hamlet form by being placed into the keyhole on the top of the belt and then turned. This key is dark grey with a crown symbol engraved on the top.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Benedick This key has a pair of crossed daggers on the top and is a dark green colour, it allows Arthur to change into Benedick Form.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Macbeth This key has an open hand engraved onto the top, it's a pastel red in colour and by placing it in the drivers keyhole and turning Arthur gains access to the Macbeth form
[/li][li]Trigger Key Romeo This key is purple has six dots positioned in a circle engraved onto it (The inside of a revolver). By turning this key in the drivers keyhole Arthur transforms into Romeo Form.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Cesario The pattern engraved atop this key is of two people side by side, by turning it in the keyhole on the Driver Arthur is changed into Cesario Form.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Oberon[/b] This key is black and engraved in the top is a domino mask. When this key is turned in the Driver Arthur enters Oberon Form.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Iago[/b] is rust covered but you can just make out a pair of angel wings engraved on the top. The key is used in conjunction with the Bard Sabre to transform Arthur into Iago form. However, if Arthur can overcome the devices evil influence the rust breaks off and the key becomes Trigger Key Othello which is used in much the same way to transform him into Othello Form.[/li][/ul]
[/li][li]Trigger Key Punch Identical to the Kick Key except it has a fist symbol engraved on the top. Once turned Arthur's arms charge with energy and he can perform a rider punch, rider chop or another move using his hands.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Slash Identical to the Kick Key except it has a sword engraved into the top. Once turned any bladed weapons Arthur's holding start to charge with energy.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Shoot Identical to the Kick Key but with an arrow engraved onto the top. Once turned any ranged weapons that Sonnet is holding charge with energy.[/li][/ul]
[/li][li]Trigger Key Ride This Key allows Sonnet to summon his "Steed" (Machine Sonnet in this case) it's dark red with a horseshoe engraved on the top.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Anchor The Stay Trigger Key is dark red with an anchor engraved on the top. When Arthur places it in his driver his feet glue themselves to whatever he's standing on and won't come undone until he releases the key. This Key can be used on Oberon Form's fairies in a similar fashion.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Fire This key is a dark red in colour with a flame engraved on the top, when this key is activated his weapons are charged with fire, in Hamlet, Othello and Macbeth Form it's his fists, in Benedick form his daggers and feet ignite, in Romeo Form his gun fires flaming bullets, in Cesario Mode his hands and feet ignite. In Othello Mode he can place the Trigger Key into one of the fairies where it will ignite and fly around. In Iago form he gains control over fire and can create fireballs in his hands.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Storm A dark red key with a lightning bolt engraved on the top, this key works much in the same way as the Fire key. Macbeth, Hamlet and Othello forms all gain electrically enhanced punches, Benedick and Romeo's weapons become charged with lightning and Oberon's fairies are surrounded by lightning but the other forms gain different powers. In Cesario Form the "twins" become electrically charged all over and their speed is increased and when Iago form uses it lightning begins to strike the ground around Arthur and anyone nearby.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Ice When the Ice key is used Romeo can fire beams of ice, Benedick Form can create bridges of ice to run on and his knives become ice-cold, Macbeth, Othello, Oberon and Hamlet forms all gain frozen fists. Oberon can also use it to give the fairies ice powers. When Iago form uses it the temperature around him drops to sub-zero and ice begins spreading all around. The key is dark red with a snowflake engraved on the top of it.
[/li][li]Trigger Key Jump The Jump key is a dark red key with a picture of a single wing engraved onto the top, when placed in the Driver Sonnet jumps into the sky and can bounce off objects. Oberon can attach this key to a fairy allowing it to jump high as well. [/li][/ul]
[/li][li] Bard Sabre The Bard sabre is a longsword utilised by Othello and Iago forms. In Iago form it's rusted over almost completely and the three keyholes on the hilt of the sword are unusable. But when Arthur is in Othello form the blade appears sparkling silver. The advantage of the blade is that it allows the user to use an extra three Trigger Keys in addition to the one in the belt. Finisher Keys will execute one of Othello's final moves, and form keys let him copy the weapons and secondary abilities of that form (Romeo's "fade" power, Benedick's speed etc.).
[/li][li] Machine Sonnet is Arthur's motorcycle. It's a black Kawasaki ER5, it's a tiny bit empathic and can come to Arth
[/li][li] Arthur carries a big rucksack with all his stuff in.
[/li][li] The Chaos Gun! Given to him by Lucifer in the aftermath of the London Apocalypse. It's a powerful Hellspawned weapon.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Arthur wants to be a good guy and he's doing a good job of it. He's charming, friendly and always willing to try new things or help out. He believes in honour but feels that if the situation changes then it's okay to break a promise. Arthur's very willing to protect people, even those he's just met and will fight to his fullest to protect the innocent. He is fairly calm and laid back but he can easily get angry and start lashing out at someone, not physically mind you, verbally. He prefers to stab at people's feelings rather than beat them black and blue because it's "more satisfying" (Moral ambiguity much?).
Arthur can get upset, he usually thinks about his family, and how their lives were affected by Sonnet (Or he will once he puts all the pieces together). He worries that he'll turn out like his Great-Grandfather did, or that he'll hurt someone close to him. He retreats into a little shell and starts thinking about topping himself, or just running away, or even giving the Sonnet Driver to someone else and ending the curse. But then he remembers he's the good guy, vows not to let it happen and gets back on his feet.
Strengths:
- Charming, witty and a good public speaker.
- Strong moral code, not afraid to speak his mind.
- Clever, good with riddles and logic puzzles.
Weaknesses:
- Not a strong fighter (as Arthur).
- Confused by all the crazy stuff that's happening around him, even though he's part of it.
- Weirdness magnet.
History: Once upon a time, when Queen Elizabeth sat upon the throne a powerful knight was chosen to guard the queen and Englannd. An actor all the way from Africa, an actor named Thomas Ingram. Thomas was given a weapon to fight the demons from within the country and the armies from without, a magical belt called the Sonnet Driver. When Thomas Ingram died fighting off the Spanish Armada the belt went to his eldest son, William, and when William passed away he gave the belt to his eldest son and so on and so on.
Claims of the belt being sighted in wars are numerous. The Angel Of Mons for example, was Stephen Ingram using the Othello Form for the first time. After that particular war the next user of the belt was James Ingram (Arthur's great grandfather). Arthur wasn't as honourable a man as the rest of his family. He used the belt for evil, brutally slaughtering whoever he could to gain power, the majesty of Othello Form was tarnished and turned into the Iago Form. It took the combined force of the Nazi and Soviet Powers to take him down. After defeating Sonnet the Russian and German armies sent the Trigger Keys out to their allies for research purposes, at the end of the war some of the keys and the Driver itself returned to the Ingram family and it was pretty clear to James's son, Richard, what his father had done with the power.
Richard Ingram kept the belt's powers a secret from his family and didn't pass it on to his eldest son (as he was expected to). However after seeing all the hype about monsters, terrorists and evil aliens all over the news he left the Driver to his grandson Arthur in his will.
And that is where our story begins ...
Arthur Ingram was a fairly average kid, pretty smart but not particularly athletic. He was interested in drama. When his grandfather died he was rather surprised at what he got in the Will. His sisters got money, his mother and father got the house, his aunt got quite a bit of jewellery and Arthur got the Sonent Driver along with a few oddly shaped keys. Not knowing what it was he just dismissed it as a pretty ornament and mounted it up in his room. When he turned 18 he decided to go on a gap year around the world, help a few people, get some references and (of course) have fun.
For some reason he took the Driver With him on this trip, along with a motorbike that he'd bought. And for some reason everywhere he goes, there's someone who wants the Sonnet Driver ...
Anything Else: It's Cross. I'm Cross. Chillax.
Sample RP: Okay, he'd obviously pissed off the little old Russian lady, Arthur was standing there trying to pick up his stuff off the floor while she glared at him with furious eyes.
"I'm sorry I tripped over your dog," Arthur said with an apologetic smile "It won't happen again ma'am,"
"Murderer," She hissed.
Arthur looked up at her with confused eyes, his Russian wasn't that good had she said "murderer" or something else.
"Pardon?" He asked, picking up the Sonnet Driver "My Russian isn-"
She jabbed a pudgy finger at the device in his hands and said the word again, everyone looked a bit alarmed.
"I just tripped over her dog," Arthur told an approaching policeman.
Three minutes of fractured Russian, mispronounced English and a search of his rucksack later and Arthur was free to go, but the little old lady was still screaming at him. Something about his grandfather's "treasure"? Maybe it was some sort of Russian thing?
