Team: Super Sentai Spirits
Morpher /Sequence: He has none; he just snaps his fingers after lifting his hand up, usually in front of his chest, and he transforms.
Description of Ranger Form: The blue one, obviously
Other Modes: He calls out “Soul Advent” and then the name of any blue colored Ranger, and he can take on that form, powers and weaponry. Additionally, he can summon the weaponry of those Rangers to himself.

• Super Sentai Ball; a ball with the Sentai logo and “XXXV” imprinted on it, launching it at enemies, enveloped in energy.

Inside Stuff
Personality: James is a man who stands as someone who demands respect from others, and returns it equally. He appears to be an imposing man, but it’s a façade on his own; he’s only imposing when he needs to be, in battle. He’s very smart and clever, someone who can easily out-gambit many people. He was a lawyer prior to becoming a Sentai Spirit, knowing a lot of information on the law, and in general has a lot of information. He has a high sense of morals and honor, and would never violate his own code of ethics. He can fluently speak English, Japanese, German, French and Mandarin Chinese.

He has a love of fine arts, often eating in fine establishments, usually going with various women he meets, but he has a stance that he never gets involved with a married woman or someone in any sort of relationship, preferring to have women of their own accord, rather than tricking women in any way.

As AoBlue, he prefers to fight with his own power, or use the weaponry of others; he would rather not transform into other Blue Senshi, but does when he must. He’s pretty good as a fighter, but not the best. He became a Spirit because of his tenacity and moral standing.

History: James was once a lawyer, having that dream since he was a young child, and his father was a lawyer. He worked hard for that life, being a prosecutor at some point in his life, until he started acting as a lawyer, having gone to the best schools that he could for his education.

He lived a high life as a lawyer, having fun, but doing his job properly, not slacking off for fun; the fun was just a perk of his. However, after a few years, he had an accident that left him nearly dead. He figured it was karma for getting a murderer off, even though he knew the man was guilty, he had his principles conflicting. Was he supposed to do his job, or follow his morals, and convict, even though he was defending the murderer?

He had decided to do his job and get him off. He hadn’t thought he would get the man free, though. As he lay there, bleeding out, he had a vision of the blue Sentai Senshi appearing before him. He reached out, wanting the power, wanting to live. When an emergency team arrived to help him, he was gone. He had transcended life itself, and had become AoBlue, a Sentai Spirit.

He went out to gather a team together, deciding that this was now his life, that he was supposed to repent for that murderer being free. He created his team, and now sets out to repent for his sole crime, as he sees it as.

Sample RP:

He was bleeding. A lot of blood; not just a minor injury from this accident. No; it couldn’t be that easy, could it?

He leaned back, looking up at the night sky through the ruined top of his car. He smiled a bit, “Is this for getting that murderer free?” he asked weakly, to God.

No answer.

“Of course, you wouldn’t waste your time with someone like me. With someone who helped a man who took the life of one of your children.”

He wasn’t religious; why was he talking like this? Whatever, it didn’t matter. He was about to die anyway.

What was this, now? Blue flashes over his face? What? He reached up, seeing them taking forms. Various. Warriors; they were all warriors.

And when he reached them, he found his wounds healed. He found himself among them. He lifted his hands, viewing a blue suit over him. What was this? What had happened?

It didn’t matter. He had another chance.

Description: Koichi dresses in darker colors, usually wearing dark jeans, motorcycle boots, and gray or black shirts, usually a short sleeved shirt with long sleeves underneath. His shirts usually have details on them, usually various red patterns.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Koichi is a confident man brimming with youth and energy. He never gives up, and will often run himself into the ground in pursuit of an answer or goal. He would rather act off of instinct than intelligence on its own, not being too book smart, as he was a slacker in school. He excels in Muay Thai, however, having loved learning that style outside of classes, on his own, for the sake of just having something to do. That being said, he’s easily bored. To stop his boredom, he usually fights or trains, otherwise he prefers to watch soap operas.

He can fluently speak Japanese and English. As Battle Japan, he doesn’t like to rely on his spear, mostly his Muay Thai fighting style.

History: Koichi was born to an average family, nothing special in any of his family. He was discouraged in school when he was supposed to write reports about his family and special people in it, as he had none. So, as he grew up, he decided to do something important with his life, to be special like that.

He started to learn Muay Thai, hoping to become a fighter, hoping that that’s how he would leave his mark. However, an accident stopped that from happening when he tore up his leg too badly to continue.

Contemplating suicide – uncharacteristic of him, as he never gives up – he met AoBlue, who restored his leg for him, helping Koichi to remain exuberant of energy and never giving up. Koichi was given the power of Battle Japan, allowing him to become the person he always wanted to be; someone to be remembered, and for his family to look upon as someone special.
Sample RP:

His leg was shattered. He could never fight again. His dreams were gone; the one thing he had always wanted to do was gone.

Well, not the only thing, but the one that was working. This had been his chance to create recognition for his family, and he had failed. His weakness had caused failure. He hated it; detested it and himself for that failure. He was ready to just die at this point.

But he couldn’t. He didn’t know why, but he couldn’t.

“Are you that weak?”

He looked back to see a man in a suit approaching.

“Who are you?” Koichi demanded, “Who are you to call me weak?” he shouted.

“Just a man who knows about strength,” he replied, holding his hand out to Koichi, “Do you want to have a chance at fulfilling your duty? Mission?”

“…yes.”

“Feel your leg,” he lowered his arm.

Koichi rose to his feet. His leg was perfectly healed.

“What did you do?” questioned Koichi in disbelief.

“I healed you,” James said, “And now, you owe me…Battle Japan.”

Morpher /Sequence: He uses his Goggle Brace and shouts “Goggle Black!” to shimmer and transform in black colors.
Description of Ranger Form: Goggle Black

• The black weapons, from top, to right, to bottom: Iron Arms, Black Emerald Nunchaku, Black Clubs. The arms for defense and close quarters, nunchaku for, well…obviously nunchaku attacks, and the clubs for throwing or melee strikes.

• Goggle Tank (the blue one in the lower left), shared with Goggle Blue, can ram and fire with a retractable missile launcher.
  

Inside Stuff
Personality: Leon is an idealist and someone who will also do whatever he must to see something through. He sees those who are powerless as people who must be defended with everything, and will do anything he can do to protect them, no matter how much it hurts him. He’s very smart, but isn’t very worldly. He used to study law after meeting James years ago, but never got very far, never becoming a lawyer, as he felt this was more important, though he still knows the laws pretty well, not that it helps him. He wishes he hadn’t taken the time to learn so much on something that really never helps him in life. He has a love of women, or so he says, but he doesn’t do much about it.

He’s quick to stand by his friends, and once you make an enemy of him, there’s no going back; he won’t easily forgive. He only makes enemies with you if you deserve it, and as such, he knows he can’t undo his decision.

He speaks fluent English, French and Japanese.

History: Leon was born to a family that meant well for him, but didn’t have the means to support him, forcing him to work his entire life from a young age to do what he wanted; he wanted to become a stock broker. From a young age he wanted this, oddly enough. So he worked hard from as young as he could to work for money and save.

Over the years he started to realize that he might accomplish his dream. But when he hit around fifteen, he realized it was foolish. A few years later he met James, who helped convince him to become a lawyer, as Leon was brilliant, which wasn’t something James would say often. Leon decided to follow James’s advice, and worked even harder, but his independent studying of the law never helped him, as he once more realized it was a dream he would never accomplish.

When he heard about James’s disappearance, that settled it for him. He left that life, only to meet James on his way home that same night. James was disappointed with him, and extended an offer to become a Sentai Senshi. Leon took it, so he could work with James, and fights on without regret.

“James!”

“You’re giving up, kid?” James questioned him with disapproval.

“I don’t have the means to become a lawyer,” he told James, “I tried! I did!”

“By saying you tried, you’re insulting myself and every other lawyer there is,” James told him, “You didn’t try hard enough.”

“I tried as hard as I could!”

“No!” James shouted, “If you had, you would have become a lawyer, no matter what! You quit! You found a petty reason and you quit!”

He had no answer for James. He stood in awkward silence.

“But I could use you.”

“Use me?”

“Become my warrior. Become a Senshi for me,” James said, extending a hand, “Become a bringer of justice.”

Leon was hesitant, but he extended his hand to James’s, “I will.”

Personality: Noah is a bit of a flirtatious woman, someone who might seem mischievous, but is well meaning. She likes to play with people by manipulating them, especially their feelings, but by no means does she see herself as a bad person, as she usually does this to friends or people who work with her, people who would understand a bit better. She has a good sense of fashion, and likes to talk about things like that, as well as shop for clothes, but she doesn’t let those things get in her way as a Senshi. She’s never been in love, but wants to be. She speaks French, English and Japanese.

• Distracted with parts of a normal human life, despite not having one anymore.

History: Noah was born in France, and grew up with a good life, privileged, as her family had money. But even with money, even with anything she could want, she got bored, and soon stopped caring about the money. She wanted something more, something human.

In school she always enjoyed people’s company, always enjoyed talking to and being around people, for no other reason than it was something that she didn’t have before. It was something money couldn’t give her. She liked the human contact all the way throughout her schooling.

When she went out of school and started to work, she began to play with human relations. She decided to do this instead of having normal relationships, like she had in school, enjoying this a bit more. She knew it wasn’t a good thing to be doing, but she enjoyed it too much. That was no excuse, but she enjoyed it too much.

One night, when she was leaving, an angry coworker came after her. He beat her and was going to presumably rape and then kill her, due to everything she had said and done that had prodded him, made him think she had some interest, when it was one of her games. She was saved by Leon, and decided from then on to try to change, realizing how much danger she could get in.

She was impressed by both Leon and James when he appeared, and pleaded to join them. James was annoyed, but figured he could ignore her. He was wrong, and to make her leave him alone, let her have power and allowed her to become a Senshi.

“Sentai Senshi,” James answered.

“I want to become one!” she asserted, “Let me join you!”

“No,” James told her, “This isn’t something for you to do.”

“No!”

And that went on for some time. Short version; she got what she wanted, if only for James to make her be quiet.

Personality: Thorne is a bit of a quiet, respectful man, who always has an insight into people around him, himself, and their enemies. He focuses more on everything else than he focuses on himself, finding his targets to be more important to focus on, fighting with a purpose, fighting to neutralize quickly. He’s very smart in a range of subjects, but some of it can be considered trivial over anything of importance. He likes to look into these things out of boredom, and because they may become relevant someday. He also makes very good tea.

He fights with a balanced style, focusing on martial arts, but focusing on precision strikes more than anything. He can focus his aura into strengthening and speeding himself, as well as projections off of his strikes; punching energy bursts, for instance. He can speak English, Japanese and German.

History: Thorne was born to a politician, a British man living in America. He was born in America as a result, but moved to England with his parents after his father lost and decided to return. He grew up there, not really imprinted by his time in America, but feeling that sense of being different, even if not having lived there for long.

For his schooling, from a young age, he often was alone. He studied alone, ate alone, spent all of his time alone. He began to read, gaining his trivial knowledge, and his insights into things over the years. When he graduated, he went to college for business.

Years later, he encountered James when he was between jobs, the economy taking its toll on him. Thorne was seen as someone who could use the Maskman powers effectively, and given the title of Blue Mask almost against his will, but he decided to agree and fight for justice in the end.

As he walked along the streets, hands in pockets, a man appeared before him.

“You wear a nice suit,” he said, “Too bad about your job.”

“What are you talking about?” questioned Thorne.

“I don’t know you, but I like what I get off of you,” the man told him simply, mysteriously, holding out his hand, “Take this, take it and join me.”

“What is it?”

“The power to do something with your life, Thorne Diamont,” the man replied.

“Who are you?” Thorne demanded.

“James; a man called AoBlue. Be my Blue Senshi, and join my team. Help us to bring justice to this world.”

He considered it for a minute. He looked up to see James standing as AoBlue at this point, making him believe in this man. He took the Masking Bracelet and affixed it to his wrist, “Ok.”

Personality: Angela is a devout Christian, following her faith and taking it very seriously. She doesn’t believe in things like sex before marriage, or breaking of the Commandments (even taking the Lord’s name in vain). She’s well read, very smart and studious, but a bit sheltered. She wanted to do this for the sake of adventure, and to see the world, despite the danger. She can become distracted by the things that she hasn’t experienced much of in life, such as relationships, or by extension, men. She has no interest in money or power, only to help others.

She can speak English and Japanese. She isn’t a very strong fighter, usually relying on firearms.

History: Angela grew up in the Seattle area to a normal family, one without money troubles or anything. They could afford to help her with her studies, being an only child. She was always told that she should study more, become a good student, and that life would be easier for her by doing that. She listened to her parents and did just that for most of her life.

When she graduated high school and couldn’t decide on a college major, she started to realize that she had wasted her life. She was approached by James for no apparent reason, and even he seemed surprised by appearing before her, but he gave her power anyway, feeling that it was what he was supposed to do by being there. Why else was he there? Neither knew. Angela became the final member of James’s team as a result.

“To be honest, I don’t know,” James said, holding out the Henshin device, “But for some reason, I appeared here, before you. I figure I need to let you take this.”

“But what if I don’t want it?” she asked.

“You do want it.”

“Nothing. I would have found another, but I doubt I would have gotten very far. I’m sure I would have ended up here again, because I was meant to. Now take it.”

Angela took the Crosschanger and affixed it to her wrist, “I’m ready, then.”

“Good,” he turned his back to her, “Then the team is assembled, finally.” He walked off, making her follow him.

Weapons:

• Silver Shot; his blaster weapon which fires energy bullets. It acts like a standard firearm, but can do damage to Kaijin and the like. It only needs recharge time-to-time, instead of having an ammo capacity.
  
• Red Vute; a red whip-like weapon that can stiffen up into a staff, or be spun around into a drill formation and be used as such.

• Varidorin; a bird-like craft that can fire missiles, laser attacks, and has high speed and maneuverability.

Personality: Jack is a laid back everyman in the truest sense of the word. Normal, but finding himself in extraordinary circumstances on a regular basis. He tries to act more like a laid back man who enjoys comforts in life, but over the years has slowly developed a cold, hardened, calloused side, often falling into violence to solve his problems. He tries to keep a sense of humor, but it seems to him that it usually doesn’t work. He’s rather intelligent, but not much beyond average, though doesn’t usually act it. He’s a great shot as a marksman, and a skilled combatant. His body is modified into a cyborg, so he’s stronger, faster, and more resilient than an average man.
Strengths:

• He gets a great deal out of life.
  

Weaknesses:

• His jumps between laid back and violence.
  
• He’s constantly in situations he can’t usually control, despite how unique they are, he doesn’t like it.

History: Jack grew up in Hawaii, where he lived until he was twenty. When he turned twenty, he went out for employment in the police, finding them understaffed, and he was let in despite his lack of training. Due to quick training, he learned marksmanship and combat, though refined it on his own.

He became pretty good at what he did, and had some good friends who were able to help him learn more and more about different subjects. Eventually he sought out employment at Interpol where a friend worked, and due to what he learned from his friends, he was in.

When AoBlue was discovered, he was converted into a cyborg with the same technology used on Big One when ISS and Interpol met up at one point. Jack was sent to encounter AoBlue and join with him to keep an eye on things, as AkaRanger.

“You think I have to accept you?” the blue suited figure questioned him.

“No, you don’t have to accept me. Or let me into your team, period,” Jack told him, walking to the front of him, gesturing, “But…it’ll just be easier if you do.”

“For me, more than anything,” Jack explained, “You see…if I go back to Interpol…yeah, it’s a lot of problems for me. So come on…just let me join!”

AoBlue shook his head, “You know what, I’m in a giving mood today.”

Jack nodded, giving him a smile. That was a relief, “So…I’m in?”

“Welcome,” AoBlue shrugged, walking off. Jack ran off to catch up.
