Inside Stuff
Personality: Jasmine is a bit of a goth, but not much. Mostly it affects her dress and a bit of her speech and personality, making her a bit darker, but not much. Deep down, she's a really caring person, but has been hurt in life, causing her problems with trusting people. She's a person who has the best interests in mind, but can't really bring herself that close to people. That aside, she's a very smart person, as she?s devoted herself. She's a quick learner, allowing her to pick up the magic and combat skills quickly. She doesn't really like men in general, but will work with them when she needs to. She's a bit impulsive and curious - rather, nosy. After her father, she's a good judge of character.
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
History: She was born in Egypt to European parents, and lived there for about two years, but moved back to London after that. Her mother was and still was working as a nurse, while her father never said what he did with his life. Around the time she turned five, her father started to grow abusive, but only physically - not sexually - and would hit her whenever she did things he didn't like. Never out of drunken rage; instead, just in place of chastising with words.
By the time she was ten, she learned how to keep herself safe by avoiding him and by knowing what and what not to do. Her mother knew, but didn't do much to help her, other than a little to help with her pain and wounds, but never spoke to her husband for whatever reason. As Jasmine moved through school, she ended up at a private high school, and changed to more of a goth girl ? not too extreme, as most would go, but just a little. Her father passed away when she was sixteen, but she didn't really care. She felt he deserved it.
When she was seventeen, a message arrived at their home for their father. The sender didn't know he was dead. She opened it, finding summons for her father to some group that implied they were magicians, and implied that he would know who they were. When she forced her way into her late father's study, she found many Egyptian artifacts and symbols and the like; symbols and artifacts that were of magic. She learned that he had studied Egyptian magic, and that was why he was in Egypt a lot. She began to study, since the summons went out about two months in advance. When the time came, she went in his place to see what was going on, shocked to find other "magicians" of other countries and types, speaking of some dark threat.
She was forced to take her father's place and was given the Legend Morpher to fight as the Yellow Legend Ranger.
Anything Else: Played by Ren. She has the knowledge of Egyptian magic, which is as follows. Her abilities base around protection and healing primarily. She has some destructive abilities, but they barely do anything against "enemy countries" as it were put by the ancient Egyptians. She can bless Ankhs for the sake of immortality and protection from the dead; though it's mostly for allowing a bit of strengthening and protection against the undead enemies. She can create a cartouche to give good luck. She can make a djed for protection of the spine. She can create an eye of Horus for healing. A knot of Isis can also be done, but she doesn't like to, since it has to do with menstrual flow, and is fairly useless. She can create the lotus flower, and give her life with it to revive another - supposedly - giving her life because she lacks the power not to. Then there's the scarab, which brings new life to a corpse. It takes a lot of her energy do to this.
Sample RP:
What was she supposed to do? She had this strange letter that was addressed to her dead father, and it was about wizards. There was weird stuff in the world, but wizards?
Well, if there were cyborgs and monsters and everything else - Kamen Riders, Senshi, and more - then why not wizards?
"Because it doesn't make sense," she told herself. Those heroes were one thing...but wizards? Wouldn't these conflicts be over if people with magic were involved?
