"I will have no way to protect her properly until I get my powers back in 10 days." Miu said simply, "Clear the air with her when your place is ready to be taken.." she said, referring to the fact that she had no powers to protect Yui with, but he did.

"I will need to talk to my...lover. But I am sure I can. Let me tell you something, Kingslayer. You be honest with her...right down to the last detail. She deserves the chance to forgive you, if she has it in her heart to. If you don't give her that chance, you'll have to deal with me." Miu said, glaring at him. She could quite probably take his powers away from him and beat him senseless with them, if he made her angry

Yui soon came running back, holding out the money she owed to Miu, "Hoji gave me this to pay you with," she said.

"I will take her if she cannot forgive you. I won't let you get out of it so easy." Miu said, lowering her tone.
Then she looked at Yui, "I accept this gift...but you don't owe me a thing, Yui-chan." she said, taking the money and putting it in her pocket.

Yui's face lit up, "Yes! I'd love to!"
Retsu nodded to her, "You should go; you'll be in good hands," he told her.
She nodded, "I'm going to go get some things," she told Miu, running off.

"When she comes back...tell her....I'll be outside. Do this right, Kingslayer...and you might be deserving of the name Retsu yet...whether you believe it or not." Miu said to him bluntly, before turning and walking outside the Dekabase.

"I plan on telling her," he told her as she left.
A few minutes later, Yui came back with a bag, smiling to Retsu, "Thank you, Retsu."
"Yui-sama, we need to talk about something, before you go."
"What is it?" she asked, "Are you worried about me?"
"...that's not what this is about," he told her, "Please, don't think less of me."
She frowned, "What is this about?"
"...when we fled our planet, the Zangyack were about to destroy it."
"Yes; the reason we had to leave," she said.
"Your father couldn't protect the planet. They were going to destroy it no matter what. But he made a deal for his own safety. A greedy deal that would benefit only him."
"What are you saying, Retsu?" she questioned, feeling bad about thinking about the past, about hearing this about her father, if it was true, but Retsu wouldn't lie to her.
"He was going to give you to the Zangyack. One of their scientists was collecting...specimens, and you fit what he needed. In order to protect you...I slew your father with my own hands, with my blade, and fled with you, under the final orders of the royal court."
"...you killed...you killed my father...?"
"I had to, to protect you," he said softly, not wanting to think about it, "I had to become a Kingslayer for your sake, Yui-sama."
She had tears now, running down her face. She said nothing to him.
"I don't intend on you to forgive me...but you needed to know. I'm passing on my duties to Miu, as you no doubt don't want to see me again."
"You...you did what you had to...," she told him, "I don't hate you. I...I just..."
"Find the words you need when you return," he said, picking up her bag, which she had dropped.
She nodded and took the bag, leaving to go with Miu.
