He didn't mention that the parting was a time warp, though. Or an unnatural death in the present day due to the Saga belt's influence...or something.

Mamoru tossed his deck up and down in his hand looking side to side, "Two on two....that's sad." he sighed standing up as the water in the fountain shot up into the air, "henshin!" Mamoru called sliding his deck into his belt, the multiple reflections of his rider form appeared around him and converged forming into a solid form with bright red eyes. "No way to determine strong riders if it's unfair numbers like this..."

"Sonoko?" he didn't know she was getting involved. He shook his head, "Let me handle him. Please, escort Tamiko-san to a safe distance, if you would."
He went through his pose; throwing his arm out after the initial hit against the Knuckle. He drew it in and docked it on the belt, "Fist O-n", assuming his Ixa armor.

Ryuga slipped out a card and placed it into its activation slot. SWORD VENT!
Ryuga holds his hand up and a sword appeared from the sky and flew into his hand and then pointed the blade toward IXA, "Let's see you fight."

From the surface of the water Dragblacker emerged and curled up looking down at Sonoko and Tamiko and roared at them, "If you don't then I can't be held responsible for their fate."

Otoya pulled the Ixa Knuckle and aimed for the dragon, releasing a pulse blast.

Dragblacker looked and the blast struck it in the face, when the smoke cleared Dragblacker continued staring at Otoya and snorted fire out of its nostrils. Ryuga sighed tapping the end of the sword on the ground and looked to Otoya, "It'll take more to injure Dragblacker..."

He drew the Saga belt up and drew the Jacorder, parrying Ryuga's slash as he rippled and transformed.

Sonoko looked at her grandpa and the weird fighter fight before she then took Tamiko and hid her in a safe place, "Stay here" she said.
