Description: Thomas approached middle age far faster than most, with a hairline that started to receded by the time he was twenty, to counter this he continually shaves it bald, in fact his razor has seen more of his scalp than his face which he often neglects to shave, sometimes for days at a time unless he's got a show. Otherwise he is fond of wearing blue jeans, oversized dress shirts and baseball caps with various leftist political logos emblazed upon them.

Appearance:
Transformation: After plucking the strings on his brace Thomas places his wrist in front of his face to allow the magical sound waves to flow over his body to convert him into his Oni form, to complete the transformation a bolt of lightning strikes the brace and converts the rest of his body.
Weapons and Abilities:
- Thunder Axe: A basic axe that when combined with the Roaring Thunder can be converted into a magic guitar
- Roaring Thunder: An attachment to the Thunder Axe to convert it into it's guitar form.
- Lightning Oni Fists: By focusing his oni powers into his limbs he can enhance his punching and kicking powers with electricity
- Oni Claws: His fingers end in sharp claws, useful in close combat how he plays a guitar with these is a timeless mystery.
- Musical Powers: Beyond just the offensive purposes Thomas can use his musical oni powers to calm human enemies and rally allies.
Finisher(s): Sonic Vibrations: Thomas jams the blade of the Roaring Thunder into his target and starts to play a rather fast and complex piece. The sonic vibrations from the instrument are transmitted into the target who then explodes.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Thomas is a pretty nice guy as long as he does not see anyone strong picking on the weak and not just in the literal sense, everything from corporate tax cuts and gentrification of a low income neighbourhood pushing it's residents out and onto the street to tyrannical warlords of the Third World is able to set him off into a fit of righteous anger. His becoming a Kamen Rider added something else to envoke his ire, he sees the various heroes of the world as rightfully belonging to people not the authority of a government or private sponsor because when the government and big business can tell you which transforming men the bad guys are it's a short slippery slope a fascist state where the Riders and Rangers are used to enforce all laws with ruthless efficiency and force, as such he opposes many heroic organizations as strongly as he does the villainous ones. He has learned how to focus that anger into both his politically charged music and into his fights for justice as a Kamen Rider.
Strengths:
- Considered to be one of the world's greatest guitarists, possessing moderate fame among those knowledgeable about music.
- His time with anarchist organizations in his youth left him with a working knowledge of hit and run and barricade siege (from both in and outside) combat tactics and demolitions. He can't make a bomb out of random scraps in a broom closet but he could with a few hours at home.
- He has contacts across North America in various crime syndicates, far leftist fringe groups, unions and music scenes. While a lot of what they know is hearsay and rumours occasionally something useful slips by.
Weaknesses:
- Distrust for any organization that controls Kaijin or Henshin Heroes. (They are heroes of the people, not the man)
- His constant tour schedule greatly limits his ability to be the hero he feels he should be. He has a major guilt complex over this, particularly when dealing with heroes with less viable means of financial support.
- Unlike many heroes who's actions while potentially dangerous sit in a legal grey area. His means of combating evil practically sit on the level of terrorism with bombing of enemy buildings and the such (keep in mind anyone from Foundation X to the Dekarangers are people he considers to be enemies of justice). As such his Rider form is wanted world wide on many criminal charges.
History: Born in Harlem to a white history teacher and an inner member of the Black Panthers, Thomas grew up in a world racked by chaos despite living in the US his whole life. While the movement his Father was involved in died when Thomas was an infant his Father never gave in completely and was an active member of several political organizations inspiring his son to follow his footsteps, even to the point of joining a sect of anarchists who attempted to blow up several major landmarks in New York. Before they actually could though, a strange masked man on a bike came and beat their ringleader senseless revealing ties between the sect and the infamous SHOCKER. Later Thomas would learn that man was a Kamen Rider and would come to respect what happened but at the time he was bitter.
In his late teens he got involved in a con game that required one of the parties to pose as a musician busking for some money. Taking some lessons to be able to fill that roll he was discovered to have a natural talent and he left the crime game to pursue his new found interest in music. A few years later he was the lead guitarist of the metal band Apparatus Ad Furor known for it's politically charged lyrics. unique guitar work and lack of digital instrumental aid or sampling. At a gig during a major political rally he met Folk Singer Katherine Wright and the two immediately hit it off. Within a year the two began their own touring acoustic folk act that while never as successful as Ad Furor it still got them a moderate means to support themselves.
Them something happened that would change his life forever, after a gig with Ad Furor he met the same masked man from his childhood. The man revealed himself to be an Oni rider, a man empowered with demonic power channelled through music to fight for justice. He also revealed that he was dying and wanted Thomas to take over the mantle for him. Thomas was hesitant to accept the offer but he did and for three years Thomas Mitchel disappeared, leaving his band mates and girlfriend in the dark. He tried to leave Kat a note but it ended up being incoherent and rambling and left her more confused than she'd been before.
After three years of training Thomas was finally ready to become a Rider and he did. His first target was a group of smugglers carrying dangerous weapons across from Japan to the States. He went to attack the convoy but found it already under siege by Gormin. After fighting off the aliens and smugglers with relative ease Thomas found what they were smuggling, an alien cellphone and a bunch of pink ranger keys. It took a bit of research but he managed to figure out that he stumbled upon one of the mobirates and Ranger keys of the Pirate Sentai Gokaiger, one of the few truly free ranger teams out in the world right now. He arranged for the keys and phone to make their way to his ex-girlfriend with the knowledge that she would know what to do with them. While she struggled at first he made sure that she did indeed become a true hero as the new GokaiPink.
Now he has returned to the world both as Rider and as a man, returning to his old band and touring the world by day and fighting for justice by night.

Foundation X, it took a long time but he finally found them, the people with their their fingers in all the superpowered pies from Cell Medals to Astro Switches they are the power behind the thrones. The Kingmakers of a transhumanist age. Thomas looked up at the old warehouse, it wasn't a main outpost or anything but it was if his intel checks out the a GaiaMemory factory. Take this place out and the west coast will be Dopant free within a year.
Under the cover of night me made his way across the courtyard, careful to avoid the patrols of Masquerade Dopants. As he approaches the back entrance he meets with the greatest threat to any would be infiltrator, a pass code locked door. Randomly trying a series of numbers (35712) fails and sets off an alarm notifying all the thugs to his presence.
"I was hoping to not have to do this..." Thomas sighs as he strums the strings of his bracers and holds it to his forehead. The lightning comes down upon him to bring about his full transformation.
"Alright. Let's rock!"
