"Ah'll answer it when Ah'm ready, Simon." Kase replied with a smile, letting her accent out as she stood to her feet. But as a conciliatory gesture, she took his hand in hers as they walked out.

Now I think we're done. I would actually prefer it this way, his being attracted to her constantly yet getting no response, or whatever, instead of a more immediate answer one way or the other.
