"They're called the Hellfire Club," Jack explained, taking a sip of his drink "They're an ancient organization of ... magicians is the most accurate word to describe them but it isn't the most fitting, and ancient isn't too accurate either, they're only two or three hundred years old,"

"The name sounds familiar. Unfortunately, I think you only know about the 'earthly' part of the organization.
"In the late 1920s several pacts were made with various.....demons, for lack of a better word. A coup was staged by Valafar, one of the grand dukes, he was able to steal Lucifer's throne. Allegiances we formed, but some refused." he shrugged his shoulders referring to himself.

Jack smiled a little bit. "So you do know them," He leaned back in his chair "So, how do they know you?"

"The million pound question." he sips his drink "To know that, you have to understand who I am.
"I'm not one person. I'm a mix of the man that was once Robin Jarvis, son of Alphonse Jarvis and mortician, and the Barghest, one of the reapers. There are over a hundred of us. Black angels, the Santa Muerte, the Fossoyeur, the Shinigamis, and the grandfather of them all: the Grim Reaper. The first taker of souls. He created us over time using folklore to shape us, each one following it's own culture as the world grew and dispersed."
He refills both glasses before continuing.
"When Valafar took the throne, he had Grim in his pocket along with all the other reapers. I was the only one that refused. I escaped before they could stop me. I traveled lived on the run for a time before I found Robin's body. He had been killed by a ghost and his soul was on the verge of becoming one himself. I used what power I had and fused our souls inside his body.
"And here I am."
I'm not usually open about who I am, but it is better to be honest with new allies.

Jack looked interested, but a bit confused. "That's ... impressive," He said with a short nod, it was a bit intimidating too, knowing that being killed and then waking up as a were-lion was no longer the most impressive death story ever. He took another drink from his glass "Very impressive."

"And how about you?" he took a swig of cognac "Besides the fact that you a Orphnoch, how did you come into knowledge of the Hellfire Club?"

Jack smiled and crossed his legs. "Our company has been around since the 80's but but it's only been an important company since the early-mid 90's, and being so important a few fringe members of the group, the ones motivated by political power and corporate greed mostly, tried to infiltrate us," Jack chuckled a little. "We found out who they were and were able to get a little bit of information out of them, as I said they were only Fringe members and they didn't know a lot," He admitted

"Well aside from my life in the underworld I had no knowledge of the enemy." Robin leans his head to the side "I remember hearing about that name from my child as well. In comic books I think."
Jarvis leans pack in his chair and puts his feet on the corner of his desk.
"Now, enough chit-chat. What do think should be our next move?"

"We need to get you equipped," Jack said "And we should test you're abilities out,"
He stood up and handed him a business card, his "Real" business card the one he usually gave to Orphnoch's. He picked his glass up and had another drink. "Or if you'd prefer we could set off now?"

"Why not. Something tells me a mess of body parts in front of the store will keep customers away for a few days."
He stands up and reaches for his coat.
"What exactly do you mean by 'equip'?"

"Well we have heavy weapons, light weapons, medium weapons," Jack explained "You can be given them, or if you'd rather we can biologically fuse them to y-" Jack stopped "I'll explain when we get there, would you like me to get a car to take us to the airport?"

"Weapons? As in guns? Bazookas? Hand guns?" he stopped at the door with his hands in still fixing his jacket collar "What is this? A Romero film?
"Conventional weapons really don't stand up against most undead." he squints at Jack "The airport? Where exactly are we going?"

Jack laughed.
"Of course not," He said "We aren't going to use conventional weaponry at all, we have weapons that can be fused to your body directly, or high powered energy weapons or well ... you get the idea,"
"... Oh where are we going!" He exclaimed realising what Robin had just said "We're going to Chicago, our main testing facility, our main testing facility is there,"

"Chicago? In the US?" Jack nodded his head "Impressive. To tell the truth, I'm not at all interested in the weaponry for myself. I just believe in knowing the power of my allies. I hope we won't stay away for to long, I try not to leave the Isles without my protection for to long."
Jarvis stops before opening the door.
"Will I be needing anything? Passport and such?"

Jack thought for a second. "Nah, we'll just blag our way through passport control," He chuckled.
