Robin keeps his stance while looking at Marcel.
Well, the guy hads guts and he was determined.
He kept his eyes on the knight.
"Jack? How about you?"

Jack was glowering at Arms and then heard Bhargest talking. "Sorry?" He muttered still staring at Marcel "What was that?"

"Do you feel the need to duke it out?" he looked back at Frost over his jacket collar "I'm talking about problems much bigger than 'who shot who first'. I'm asking both of you" he glances back at Marcel "to work with me. Together."
Robin steps out from between them.
"But if you both feel the need to have a pissing contest, I won't waste my breath."

Jack came out of his Orphnoch form and approached Jarvis hand extended. "He's right, we have a common enemy," He glanced over his shoulder at Marcel "One I know more about than either of you ..."

Robin smiled at him like a cat looking at a piece of fish.
"Well. Let's compare notes"
He turns back to Marcel with a more serious look.
"How about you Lancelot? Put aside you feelings towards Mr Frost aside, just till we no longer have a common enemy."
He liked the little knight. He had spirit. He admired his values, but they had no place in today's world.

"I will not join you as that close an ally, Barghest. I do like you, I would like to fight with you, but I can't put him out of my mind. Not after what his subordinate did to me when we fought." He holstered his weapon and returned to normal, "I'll fight by your side if we're fighting the same enemy, or something, but I won't ally with you outright, not with the Orphnoch."

Jack chuckled and turned around. "Please, Marcel, can I call you Marcel?" Jack said, perfectly calm "I'm not some sort of supervillain, I'm not going to make you sign a contract in blood, I just need the help of you and Barghest to take out a ruthless organization of occultists,"

Robin steps in next to Jack.
"He has a point Marcel." he noted his name "When this is all over you two can fight it out. I'll sell tickets to the show. Whatever.
"This war that's coming. Is bigger than me. Bigger than all of us." he let's his arms scan over the gore and body parts covering the street "This is nothing. It's just the beginning. The worst part is, we can't tell the public. THEY control the public! The government! The country! No one can stand with, no one.
"We have no one else besides ourselves."

"I have the resources and weapons to back you up," Jack said "If you're going to be a brave chivalrous knight then fine, forget my offer fight them by yourself, but if you are as I suspect an intelligent man then help us, we can arm you to the teeth, give you knowledge and skills to battle these monsters. You won't be employed by us you'll be helping us!"

"I can't join with the Orphnochs. Even if it means this much about everything, I can't join you. I'll continue to fight, but that's it." Marcel said, walking away from them.

Robin watches Marcel leave. He turns to Frost.
"I guess we figure something out together." he walks back to his storefront "Care for a drink?"

"That would be nice," Jack smiled "Do you need me to explain why I came here as well?"

"My guess is your a man that knows things others don't." Robin leads him back to his desk and pulls out a bottle good cognac with two glasses "But I'll admit, I'm curious."
He settles down behind the desk and pours.

Jack chuckled a little. "If I'm honest, I didn't figure out you were ... different until a few minutes into our conversation," Jack admitted "The real reason I came here was to see if any of your "clients" had been resurrected as Orphonochs," Jack laughed a little bit "How well did I do?"

"To be honest: Orphonochs were the last thing I was thinking of." he nods towards the window "You can see I have other types of resurrection on my mind.
"Anyway, you said you knew more about 'our' enemy than I do. Care to expand that thought?"
