A few hours later Ankh had returned with his chick, so to speak, and the two were perched on the balconies again. Mezool remained by McKenzie and her minor had brought in a toilet and watching it strangely while Uva and his remained in the bar.

Her pain was mostly gone, but she still hurt a bit. As she sat up, she didn't make any complaints or try to show any pain.
