(Well, for one thing, they're back on the train, but Kiba remained behind because he felt a presence watching him. Want something to happen with Kiba and Katsumi?)
Ran let Kiriha lead her there, going to the cockpit

That's what I left Katsumi there for.
Katsumi walked out, flipping his knife around, "Tell me, Horse-boy, what are you lot doing with her?"
Kiriha led her to the room where Airi was. Kirihiko helped Marilen to get comfortable in a chair, then left to talk to the others, to see what was going on. He didn't quite trust Marilen, but Kiriha told him otherwise.

The young lady remained in a deep sleep for a brief moment, Marilen could look over at her, if she wanted.
"I could ask you the same question, Katsumi." Kiba said, out of instinct.

"You know who I am, good," Katsumi said, gripping and sheathing his combat knife, "What question is it you have for me?"
Marilen looked at Airi. She recognized the girl from reports, wondering what had happened to her.

"What happened with you and Marilen?" Kiba decided to be blunt, his eyes glowing slightly grey.
Airi began to stir as her Geki reacted to the new presence in the room. She managed to prop herself up on one arm and look over at Marilen with a curious eye, "Who...are you.." she said softly, still sore all over but not as much as before..

Kiba looks at him. "You sound like some of the people I used to know at Smart Brain." he said, his eyes narrowing, "How do you feel about her? Or are you just abusing her in the quest to follow crappy orders?

"I'm sure you will," she said, "I'm psychic; I could try to help you recover, or something," she offered.
He didn't answer how he felt about her. That was...confusing. His comrades had mocked the very notion of such a young, naive woman. Psychics not being used as weapons...they were all fools. All of those psychics. She was the only survivor because he had risked the wrath of the Foundation by fighting the buyers of the psychic soldiers-to-be.
"I follow orders like a soldier. I am a soldier," he told Kiba.
Someday I'll tell that story...

"I don't want to hurt you accidentally." Airi said, "I was hit by a high powered electrical pulse while I was transformed...something's happened to me as a result. If you want to try...then I will try my hardest to make sure you are not hurt."
"So you either have no mind of your own, or you are just like her abusive boyfriend." Kiba said, shaking his head. "...I would fight you..but out of one measure of respect for her..I'll look the other way if you leave."

"I'm not like that bastard was," Katsumi said, "He attempted to rape her, he beat her, and always tricked her into thinking otherwise, so she wouldn't leave. I'm foreword with with; and this is the only time I've ever laid my hands on her. The Foundation made me, because she's the closest person to me, and me to her," he said.

Airi's eyes closed and her mental state was visible to Marilen...on one side, an almost overwhelming golden power, complete with arcs of lightning protruding from it. In the middle, was Airi's personality. It was battered...heart broken to an extent...but still shone through with an innocence that would make one go 'awwww'. On the other side, a powerful aura, the silhouettes of four beasts were shown, three of which were visible...a Tiger, a Peacock, and a Rhino...the fourth merely watched from the shadows...Marilen being unable to see who that one was.
Kiba nods, "So you do feel something for her, but you don't want to do anything to make it work. Go ahead...the next time we meet, we will be enemies." he said, turning to walk away.

"There's...so much power inside of you," she whispered.
"We're already enemies, because of where we stand in this world," Katsumi said, "Soon, there will be a time to make a decision. Black and white; good and evil. Soon, that won't matter. Soon, sides will have to be taken."
He said nothing of Kiba's first words.

Airi speaks in her mind, "Yeah...but its not an evil power...Shocker tried to turn me for their own uses...but my first crush...gave his life for mine." she admitted.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Marilen said, "Who was he?"
Katsumi watched him for a moment, then turned and walked off, no longer interested. Marilen would find her way back, eventually.
