Ignoring the Gokaigers for the time, Basco decided that what he really needed to do was to go after more Grand Powers. If he could get to them first, he would be set. The Gokaigers had just obtained a small handful of them recently, so he needed to even the game.
Ninja Storm, the power of the Hurricangers, whatever it was; he didn't care what it was called. That's what he wanted, and he knew the Gokaigers didn't have it yet. A man named Sanyu Miyazaki was his target now.

Sanyu was making a food run, as they were currently out of anything to eat. He was carrying a large brown paper bag that obscured his face from people that looked at him, but also blocked his own view as he walked.

As he walked, Basco pulled his trumpet, playing a specific tune. It would inflict pain on any Ranger in the area whose team hadn't given their Grand Power abilities to the Gokaigers, or himself. He would periodically go around and play this tune to seek out those inflicted by pain.

Sanyu stopped as a sudden searing pain went through his body, the bag loosening in his grip. He staggered to a place where he could put the bag down and rest for a minute, thinking the pain was due to the weight of the bag.

Basco walked towards the man he saw in pain, "Ranger," he said, "Relinquish your Grand Power, and the pain stops."

"The main power of your team," Basco said, lifting his weapon from his jacket, "Don't resist, and this will be quick and easy. Painful."

Sanyu stood up. "I don't know who you are or what exactly you're talking about... But you're not getting it from me!" He then took out his morpher. "Samurai Storm, Ranger Form!" He then morphed into the Green Samurai Ranger and charged at Basco.

"Oh-ho, this will be fun," he lifted his trumpet and played. A glow overcame him, forming his armored GoGoV Grand Power armor. He ran forward, holding his firearm in his right hand, readying a punch with his left as he slid towards Sanyu.

Sanyu slashed at Basco several times, but his attacks did nothing. "W-what the?!"

"My armor is stronger than your sword, I can see. And my trumpet did some damage, I imagine," Basco said, explaining why he was going to lose.
He rammed his firearm into Sanyu's chest, "Bye-bye," he said cheerfully.

Sanyu's eyes widened under his helmet, and he quickly tried to move out of the way.

Sanyu was blasted backward by the attack, shattering his morph. There was a bit of blood on the side of his mouth which he wiped off.

"Your power," Basco said, his visor opening so he could play his trumpet. He began to play the song to drain the Grand Power.
