Scarbax was unable to defend himself, only hoping that Black would cut his vines on accident.
The Stingers were unable to get anywhere close to help. Cal was making sure of that. Now, Liam was rushing and fighting them of as well, only to give Aaron more room to fight the monster. If it could be called a fight at this point.

Aaron sliced the vines, yeah, but he also made sure that he hit Scarbax as well as he sliced the creature. He then rested his axe on his shoulder as he watched the creature fall to its knees. "And stay down!" he said.

"I won't stay down! I have the pride of the Star Annihilation Army on my shoulders!" he screamed, sucking in the bodies of Stingers to produce large boulder that he shot out at all three Rangers.
Cal wasn't able to stop them in time. He went down after being hit by one. Liam's shield did some good, but he wasn't faring well with this flurry of boulders.

Aaron tried swinging his Axe at the boulders, but there were too many of them as it was. "Any ideas?" he asked Cal and Liam.

"Fall back!" Cal shouted, "We need to use our cards, I'm sure!" He was already falling back, with Liam still trying to bounce boulders away with his shield as he too fell back.

Aaron was falling back as well. "Wait a second... Cal, Liam! How much water can you get out of those cards?" he asked them, taking out his morpher and Defenstone card.

"Presshower?" questioned Cal, "As much as we want, or as little as we want," he answered.

Aaron slotted the Defenstone card, creating a wall of stone in front of them. He exhaled in exhaustion. "We're going to need as much as you can... We could possibly erode the boulders, or at the very least send them back toward that thing."

"Presshower," both shouted, slotting their Cards. Walls of water shot out like spouts, rising like walls to defend against the boulders.

Liam and Cal attached theirs as the water dropped. They fired their stronger blasts, reducing the boulders to rubble, but Scarbax was still too far back, behind his protection.
