I'm being completely serious here. One hundred percent serious. I was on the Oban Star Racers forum years ago (still am, it's died down now), and joined a lot of RPGs. One was Tokyo Mew Mew, out of boredom (and the maker needed people, so I figured why not?). And I go back, read some old stuff every so often (cringe at how badly written it all is), and hell, that's where Katsu came from. Inspired from a character in an RPG from there, and named after her (Ciel is also named for a character from there). So, since we have the Sailor Senshi, I'm being serious here, would anyone be interested in a live action version of Tokyo Mew Mew?This comes from nostalgia more than anything, and I have no idea if it would work out, but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway.

It could be done... but it'd be a bit harder to pull off. Same if we do Pretty Cure.

I don't see how it would be hard, actually. I could rather easily pull this one off, since I've re-read the old RPG lately.

I don't know too much about Tokyo Mew Mew but this does sound interesting.

I don't either, Cross, but I know enough from my past experiences. And I started with no knowledge, so it can work.

Welllllllllllllllll....
I'm pretty familiar with the magical girl genre, though Sailor Moon is more my forte than TMM. Nevertheless, I can find out how the magic in TMM works. Just give me some DLs and I'm good to go.

What I know is that there was some sort of genetic engineering or something with the girls and their animal DNA being infused into them. That's what I remember from the old RPG, and I could check Wikipedia, or find a specific wiki for information.

According to Wikipedia, the girls have the DNA of endangered animals infused into their genetic code, allowing them to become their hero personas.

Yeah, I read it too.
Simple enough.
