Overview:
Syuki is a sweet, innocent girl who was just kind of thrust into the Oni way. She wants to protect humanity from the evils the Oni fight, and to protect other Oni, if she can, by partnering with many to learn their ways, and forge bonds. She’s smart, but a bit naïve about some things in life, but wants to learn, wants to be both a proper woman, and a proper Oni.

Henshin Sequence: Syuki lifts her left arm up an pulls the Kigen Onka down, revealing a few chords. She plucks her finger across, sending out soundwaves as she draws her arm up, putting the device over her forehead. Her Oni face appears, and then she lifts her arm up, sending lightning striking down around her, forming her Oni body.

  Fighting Style: She fights close ranged the best, but can fall back on ranged fighting, which is weaker for her. She values speed.
  Weapons: Raiktate; her guitar (pictured). She also has her nearly unbreakable claws to deploy.
  Abilities: She can infuse lightning into her strikes for stunning the enemy. She’s stronger, faster and more resilient as an Oni. She has healing abilities as well. She has Shuki’s abilities with the harp function of her Raiktate; either by playing its strings causing an energy wave or pulling the strings creating an energy arrow to shoot at her enemies.

  • Ongeki Zan Raiden Zanshin: Syuki stabs her weapon into the body of a large Makamou and changes is into its guitar form. She begins playing the guitar as fast as she can, causing electricity to flow from her body into the body of the Makamou, slowly causing its organs to expand and eventually explode.
    
  • Ongeki Sō Shinten Dōchi; Syuki strums her harp towards the enemy, sending out quakes of lightning through the ground and flashing through the sky as beats to go along with each strum, striking the enemy, but doing little outside damage. The damage is all internal, lashing out at the organs.

Amane was born into a normal family that had nothing to do with the Oni or their fight. They had a family friend in Amaki’s family. When that family was killed by Makamou, Amane’s family didn’t know what had happened. They lived nearby, and worried over what had happened. When an Oni came to dispatch the Makamou a bit later, after finding it again, Amane met the Oni; the now-former Fubuki.

When Amane’s parents found out what had happened, they didn’t believe Amane, but she had gotten Fubuki to come with her and prove it to them. The parents were understandably frightened and worried, learning about what was going on in the world, but Amane, being about six, didn’t understand too much, but wanted to help.

Fubuki took Amane to be raised as an Oni when her parents learned that Rika (Amaki) was also doing the same. They felt bad for Rika, but didn’t want to lose their own daughter. Finally they reluctantly allowed her to go. She was taken into training by a few Oni for short periods of time before Shuki took her as her true apprentice, raising her to be a spellcaster and guitar/harp Oni.

Shuki and Amane stopped the car as they saw two Rosutoni ahead, armed with Rekka drumsticks. Shuki got out of the driver’s side and directed to them, “Show me your abilities, Amane.”

Amane lifted her arm and focused, releasing a flaming bird attack. The creature flew at them, scorching them, but didn’t do much, as her power weakened at range.

“Improve,” Shuki stated, drawing her arm up and doing the same move. It was larger this time, more devastating as it struck, blowing the two back, covering them with wounds, slightly on fire.

“You’re amazing, Shuki-sempai,” she said softly, in awe.

“I train hard,” she informed her student, “Now, again!”

This time Amane lifted her arms up and put the palms of her hands together. A torrent of wind erupted at the two, slamming into one out of pure luck, throwing it aside.

“Excellent for your level,” Shuki told her, doing the same. This time the wind vanished, then slammed down from the sky on the two. The downed one was drilled into, torn apart. Pure Sound was supposed to be the only way, but someone of Shuki’s skill could use Oni spells to accomplish a kill as well.

“Now, transform,” she said, lifting her arm up and plucking the strings of her Kigen Onka, assuming the form of an Oni as lightning struck around her. Rika did the same, using the form of Syuki and picking up her weapon from the ground as Shuki’s harm floated to her.

The fight wasn’t long; what Amane lacked in ranged combat, she made up for in physical, disarming one Rekka with ease and slashing it across the chest. Shuki sent a sound arrow at the Rosutoni blowing it back, while Amane plunged her weapon into it and attached her buckle, “Ongeki Zan Raiden Zanshin!” she called, playing, destroying the Rosutoni.

“Good work,” Shuki said simply, assuming human form, “Work on your spells.”

She nodded, “I will,” she assured her sempai, leaving with Shuki.
