Ranger Stuff
Name: Phantom Ranger
Team: N/A, the original was an honorary member of the Turbo Rangers
Morpher /Sequence: Pieter takes a crimson crystal about the size of his fingernail and holds it up. It flashes and hovers in front of his body, then slams into his chest, surging crimson energy around his body. A flash occurs, and his black armor forms around the crystal, which is inset in the chest armor. His helmet forms last, with the face exposed for a few brief moments before closing him completely in.
Description of Ranger Form: Phantom Ranger; he can fire energy bolts from his crystal, use a cloaking function, and speed up the mechanical parts underneath his chest plate while opening the exhaust ports on his armor to achieve high speeds, costing him his transformation, however.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Pieter is a kind and caring man who puts the needs of others above his own. Diligent and hard working, he’s not afraid of working for a living, or ruling from a throne. He’d rather work, however, having no patience for politics, but does enjoy talk of war strategies. Smart and quick-witted, Pieter would rather talk his way out of situations, but fights when he must, being very skilled with a sword – preferably a rapier in human form – but not really with other weapons. He always helps those being oppressed, and will do what he can to see justice done to people who act like “monsters”, such as rapists and murderers. He doesn’t care what happens to himself, as long as he can help people.
Strengths:
- Very caring about his friends/family/comrades. He would die for them.
- Very hard working, will do whatever he must without complaint.
- Gifted with great intelligence.
- Honorable and proud to a fault.
Weaknesses:
- Puts others needs above his own, no matter what happens to himself.
- Only skilled with a blade. He has no weapons as a Ranger, which makes it hard for him to fight hand-to-hand.
- He doesn’t care about his own safety.
History: Pieter was born the first child of the ruling family of the planet Famille, born five years the elder of Ahim. He was allowed to do as he pleased, roam as he wished, to live life, while Ahim was given a sheltered life due to an increase in death threats against the royal family. Pieter couldn’t be reined in by this point, so he continued as he pleased. He became very good with a sword, and tried to protect his family from anything.
He developed a band of loyal friends, a mix of commoners and other nobles, and they went around the major city at which the Famille family held control of the planet, righting injustices their own way. They would find rapists, murderers and the like, but wouldn’t take things too far. They would always get the knights and policing forces involved to take care of it, but would fight when necessary to bring someone in.
Pieter was to be married with a family that the Famille family always married with for the sake of unity between the political body (Famille) and the strength of the army (Lannister), but the Lannister family had no female children, thus he wasn’t to marry into that alliance as had been done for countless generations to show the bonds between politics and the military. However, they had a son – Zone – who was to marry Ahim, as a result, to keep the bond alive.
Pieter learned on the streets, along with his friends, that Zone was a rapist, however. He would find women to his liking and use his position of nobility to force himself upon them, sometimes having them killed for struggling or for no reason at all. He would visit whores and do as he pleased without paying, without doing anything, likely leaving a trail of bastard children, as he never used birth control, it was noted.
When he and Ahim first met, Pieter was there. He protected her from him, knowing his abusive ways with women. He frightened Zone and caused the man to leave with his guards. Pieter told Ahim that he would always protect her, and that Zone was the type of man he was meant to protect her from. Ahim tried to convince him that things would be alright, but they both knew they wouldn’t be.
When he knew that Ahim was in constant fear of the man, Zone, Pieter decided he had to take action, no matter what. He went to the palace of the Lannisters and murdered Zone before being captured by the royal guard. He was taken back to his family’s palace where he stood trial before his parents and Ahim, though he didn’t want her there to witness his execution. He told her, as his last words, that he had done it for her, to protect her. He made no apologies for killing Zone Lannister, as he truly felt it was the right thing to do. Right when the execution was to happen, the Zangyack attacked the planet. In the commotion, Ahim got away and was rescued by the Gokaigers, hearing the sounds that she thought meant her brother had been killed. Pieter actually escaped and managed to get a craft which was heavily damaged. He was picked up by the Zangyack and sold himself as a sellsword – a mercenary. He became one of their “human” soldiers (for lack of a better name; commandos?) and fought for them for some time, just trying to hide his identity and find a way to escape from them.
One day he found a chest in one of the ships he was patrolling, recognizing it as an important object from his planet. It was locked, impossible for them to open. He somehow opened it, finding two Mobirates and Ranger Keys inside; GokaiBlack and GokaiWhite. He knew his sister had become one of the Gokaigers, and fully intended on using one of the devices to become one as well, but he was discovered and fled to Earth, managing to leave them behind along with the symbol of his planet and family when his sister and Joe found the Mobirates, becoming Black and White.
After managing to dodge the Zangyack for some time, Pieter was visited by mysterious flashes that seemed to be of memory, but he wasn’t sure what it was. One day, after a dream of a man in armor visiting him, he awoke to find the man’s crystal in his hand. From that day forth, he was the Phantom Ranger, and left to collect Ranger Keys that only he could acquire for the Gokaigers. After collecting them, he went back to Earth, ready to join their fight and reunite with his sister and the crew.
Anything Else: Played by Ren.
Sample RP:
“Ahim! Please, stay in your bed!” Pieter called as he was hauled through the Famille family castle. He was covered in blood, his sword still on his hip, blood drenched over the hilt from where he had held it, after killing Zone Lannister and sheathing the weapon.
Ahim was going to get up, but his shout stopped her from getting out of bed as he was dragged away. The men held him firmly; they were Lannister guards, and he had just killed their prince.
When he was dragged in front of his parents, as well as the parents of Zone Lannister, he was quickly put on trial for murdering Zone. He saw Ahim slipping into the room, confused, scared for him.
“Why did you come?” he muttered to himself, not wanting her to see her beloved brother being executed.
As the evidence went on – because he was guilty – he waited, hoping that soon he would die, so that it could be over with. But he would wait as long as he could hope to, just so she would leave the room.
Then she was gone for a moment. Why? She had just been there? Then an explosion rocked the castle, the room. An attack of some sort. But from who? From where?
Zangyack had come.
