Beautiful Arrival [Kiba/Natsumi]

He nodded to Kiba, "Thanks," he turned around and walked to Natsumi, "Natsumi-chan...whatever it is that's upset you, I'm sorry," he said, trying to get his bearings on what was wrong before he said too much.

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

Natsumi had paused just outside the hotel, and had leaned against the wall, her head down. Then she heard his voice, and sighed softly, "...I guess it wasn't completely your fault...but just hearing you say that what she did was *fun*...it really irritated me."

"I'm sorry. Did...did she rub you the wrong way, or something? Was she that bad to you?" he asked, not really sure of what had happened between the two of them.

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

"I...well...its a little hard to explain...umm..." And Natsumi was flustered again before a white object popped up out of her back pocket, and she turned a little to get it giving him a little bit of a view, and it turned out to be her Advent Deck...and without thinking she held it out to him. "Um...hold this for a moment...please." she said turning away as she grew red in the face.

He took it, nodding, having tried not to look when she had bent down, out of respect.

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

Then as he held it, he heard a voice in his mind, "So, you're the man that our contract holder has joined up with." Then a second voice was also heard, "But it wasn't our first guess that he would be so...naive and oblivious..."

[Kiriha Kyuuseishu]

He turned around, whispering back to the deck, wondering if he could speak back to...whatever it was speaking.

"What are you talking about? Naive? What?"

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

"Try thinking your response, instead." The first voice said before the second voice added, "And yes, naive....you can't realize things that are right in front of you...they just escape your mention."

[Kiriha Kyuuseishu]

"What am I missing?" he demanded, "What are you referring to?"

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

"Oh, where are our manners. I'm Blancwing. And this is Garudia. We are her Advent Beasts...though she has not revealed her Rider form to you." The second voice added, "What are you missing? Come on now. Ask yourself a hypothetical question, what would you do if you knew that a very beautiful woman had a crush on you? Perhaps even love at first sight...

Kiriha was actually shocked by the end of what was said; that she had a crush on him, or at least that they were implying it. He may have been dense when it came to these matters, but he figured it out and lowered the Advent Deck.

He turned to Natsumi, "You like me..." is all he could say.

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

The two contract beasts watched from a mirror as Natsumi, who had leaned back against the wall and clasped her hands over her stomach, nodded softly. "Yes...there's no point in saying otherwise...I like you...probably from the moment we first met. What led me to show you my true form was a desire to protect you." she said, looking down a bit.

[Kiriha Kyuuseishu]

He didn't say anything. Instead, he stepped forward and put an arm around her, holding her close to his body.

"Natsumi-chan...," that's all he could get out to say, at least using a good honorific for this situation.

[Natsumi Sonozaki]

Natsumi just hugged him back, burying her face in his shoulder for a moment as she held the hug in his arms.

"I like you too...," he said softly, pulling her tighter against his body.
