Description: Tall, slim, and beautiful, Trini easily fits the description of an Asian Beauty. She commonly wears yellow shirts, and is rare for her to see her wear any other color (considering she's one of the few rangers who haven't gotten a color change). She also wears blue jeans to go with her shirt. Overall, she's aged REALLY well in the past 18 years.
Ranger Stuff
Name: Yellow Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger
Team: Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
Morpher /Sequence: Identical to Adam's, just with her armor forming.
Description of Ranger Form: Yellow Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger (And no, she's not flat-chested when morphed) A yellow outfit with white diamonds around her torso. Her gloves and boots have an inverted color scheme, with yellow diamonds on white. Her helmet resembles a Sabretooth Tiger.
Other Modes: Fierce Yellow Ranger - A "Stage 2" of her suit, formed by using her weapons to call upon the spirit of the Sabretooth Tiger. Her suit becomes armor, and her Power Daggers become the large claws on her hands. She obtained this form after years of training.
Weapons:
- Power Morpher and Sabretooth Tiger Power Coin - Unlike Adam's Morpher and Coin, Trini's remained in perfect condition, save for a loss of powers due to transferring them to Aisha Campbell. After Aisha's morpher was destroyed, the powers were restored to her morpher.
- Power Daggers - A twin pair of yellow short-bladed daggers, they are effective as both melee weapons and projectile weapons. When used as part of the Power Blaster, it forms two of the five laser barrels.
- Blade Blaster - A small ray gun that could turn into a small sword, used as Trini's sidearm when not using the Power Daggers.
Zord:
- Sabretooth Tiger Dinozord - Trini's zord It could shoot a large yellow laser out of a tail cannon, similar to the triceratops however it could also attack using its teeth. This Zord was by far the fastest, running as transportation. Its hiding place was in the deep Jungle. It can transform into the Griffin Thunderzord, which can project fireballs when used in combat on its own.
Inside Stuff
Personality: Another member of the original team, Trini hasn't changed much since her days as a Power Ranger. She is still quite the tomboy, and is very intelligent. While normally very calm and collected, when she loses her cool, she will make sure she gets her point across. She's the reason why Yellows have become quite feared amongst both Ranger and Sentai teams.
Strengths:
- Very talented at martial arts, which she learned from a family member
- As stated before, very intelligent (though not as much as her former teammate, Billy Cranston)
- A brilliant schemer to the point where it's almost scary. Whenever she has a plan, she will prepare for every possible option (or the most likely one, at least), and will make sure it succeeds.
Weaknesses:
- Has been inactive longer than Adam, so she's not up to form.
- She hasn't really gotten over her fear of heights that much.
- Is also afraid of clowns (naturally, after one turned her cousin into a cardboard cutout.)
History: Trini Kwan was working out at Ernie's Juice Bar & Gym along with her friends. Suddenly the ground began to shake and Trini and her friends were transported to the Command Center. There awaited quite the sight, a head floating inside a tube. And even more incredibly, this being called Zordon, had selected them to become Power Rangers. Kimberly and Zack blew Zordon off, but Trini, Billy and Jason lingered. The idea of protecting people from the evil witch Rita Repulsa appealed to the gentle and kind nature of Trini. With the others calling them, Trini, Billy and Jason left the Command Center. Outside the building they were confronted by another strange sight - putties. Trini fought with all her might, but the putties were too strong. Without a second thought, Trini activated her power coin and became the first Yellow Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. Needless to say, after morphing into a Ranger, Trini made quick work of the putties. She also took up the challenge that Zordon placed before her.
After a year of fighting alongside the Power Rangers, however, things were starting to change. A world teen summit was coming to Angel Grove and was going to select three teens from Angel Grove to attend the world peace summit in Switzerland. Trini, along with Jason and Zack, was select to attend. Trini had served the Rangers well and, with Zordon's blessing, she transferred her power to Aisha Campbell and left for the world peace summit.
Trini was not aware of her powers being returned to her until nearly twelve years later, when she was forced to fight off some SHOCKER troops that appeared in Angel Grove. It was then that she began training as a Power Rangers once more, so she can better serve her hometown.
Anything Else: Played by Sanyu. Unlike Adam, Trini's identity as a Ranger has not been publicly revealed.
Sample RP: (Note: For this one, I'm doing something different. Instead of doing something that occurs within the RP's timeline, I'm actually going to set this in the fanfic Of Love and Bunnies. Here, we'll going into Trini's thoughts as she is driving to the NASADA space port to kick her fiancee's (Jason Lee Scott) ass)
Trini could not believe what she had heard. After seeing the news about freak explosions on the moon, Hayley told her that Tommy had received a call from NASADA for some mission, but wouldn't tell her what. It didn't take long for her to put two and two together, so she dropped Hayley off at her place and floored it to the NASADA space port.
Fishing, he said! Jason said that he and Tommy were going fishing! Not some suicidal mission to the moon! And on top of that, he went without a zord! Trini thought as she continued to drive. And he just left without waking me up and telling me he was leaving! And on top of that, we have to be at Ashley's wedding!
She reached the space port and saw Tommy walking out. Tommy must have seen her too, because a panicked expression came across his face as he ran back inside, probably to where Jason was. She parked (more like she abruptly stopped the car) on the other side of where the Megaship was, and got out of the car, slamming the door shut. "JASON SCOTT!" she roared out with the fury of a thousand sabretooth tigers.
Jason was going to get what's coming to him. She was going to make sure of it.
