Group Name: Silver Guardians
Objective: To protect the property or people that the highest bidder pays them to.
History: A private security company, the Silver Guardians grew in size with their clandestine military ties, and ties to Wild Space Corp, and the Silver Hills-based corporation known as Bio-Lab, both of which contribute a percentage (to be decided), of their funding. Having faced Mutants, Orgs, and other terrorists, they have had to adapt to the growing number of unknowns, threats and otherwise, going from minimal weaponry and protection to a respectable team that's worth every penny.
Equipment:
[/li][li]Guardian Gear: Research done on the Quantum Morpher and Ranger powers has yielded this piece of technology. Attached to the belt buckles of each Silver Guardian, they can activate one of two modes at a time.
The first mode is armor pieces (such as a version of a regular military helmet, chest plate, upper arm and gauntlet armor, the power belt that keeps it up, and thigh armor pieces along with armored greaves and boots, made from the research done on the Quantum Powers. In Mode 1, as its called, the human body is still vulnerable to attack in certain places, and while the Guardians are great against footsoldiers, and can hold their own against terrorists in groups, they will still need backup.
Mode 2 is the activation of a bodysuit made of the same material that interlocks all of the pieces together, granting them a full face helmet or a mask to deal with hazardous materials. This mode uses, and has more power, but is mainly used for emergency work, rescue of clients, dealing with hazardous materials. As such, this mode will probably only see use against enemies if its a last resort.
Weaponry:
[/li][li]Guardian Defender: A large, magnum-type weapon that uses 75% of the power that the normal Quantum Defender uses. It is the side-arm for all Guardians, with sword and gun modes.
[/li][li]Guardian Blaster: A multi-purpose, multi-functional weapon that is assembled by teams of two, and able to be held by a team of one. There are three of these in the Silver Guardians so far, with more being made. Completely customizable, the framework can be lengthened for Sniper mode, with an accompanying scope, and the mode choice of penetration or explosive, the latter of which strike against terrorists with destructive force, either directly or with splash damage.
Or it can be deployed into Assault mode, with an under-mounted explosives launcher, energy shotgun, or a energy net launcher, a large magazine that can either take energy cells or standard clips, and a laser designator.
Vehicles:
[/li][li]SkyGuardian: An armored helicopter that serves as both a transport and a gunship. Has an impressive array of six Longbow AGM missiles, and four blaster cannons with about 50% more power than the Quantum Defender. Also possesses a high level of manueverability...and is a prize investment of the Guardians, requiring a pilot of exceptional skill to use...and they have someone for that. The Longbow AGM missiles deliver a localized payload that's roughly equivalant to or a little more powerful than a Ranger team weapon finisher. Can be fired from the SkyGuardian itself, but is generally laser-designated.
[/li][li]Armored SUVs: These all-terrain, 4x4 vehicles have reinforced armor on the sides, top, rear, and over the hood. Mainly intended to get the Guardians to where they need to go, in one piece, with no weapons of their own.
[/li][li]Unmanned Aerial Vehicles: Equipped with a state-of-the-art stealth system, the Guardians only have two of these, and the decision to deploy them is a last resort. Operated from the Guardians base, the target may be designated via laser...and a Predator missile will be guided to its target, the resulting explosion being twice as powerful as a Ranger team finisher. Not cleared for use in urban areas unless in extreme circumstances.
(Face claims are used for general ideas in the minor characters list, if they are taken later then it doesn't matter too much)
Member List:
Eric Myers (Leader - Quantum Ranger) [Daniel Southworth]
