The Dopant padded along behind him quickly.
They would find Kiba laying on his back, his hands clutching his chest as blue fire dotted his human form, burning slowly.

"Kiba!" Kiriha shouted, rushing to his side, "How could I let this happen to you?" he muttered, finding himself at fault. If it wasn't for him, Kiba wouldn't have had this happen, as he wouldn't have fought Dragon. He wouldn't be involved in this fight against SHOCKER...

"He is healing, though at a slow rate." The Dopant said, kneeling next to him and letting some energy flow from her hands into him which made the fires burn faster.
Then she put her own hand on his shoulder, "It wasn't your fault. He wouldn't have come with you if he didn't want to, right?"

He remembered what Kiba said about Natsumi. If she would want to come, she would. It was the same as what she had said, but in a different way.
"You're right," he said, "Natsumi-chan...," he almost asked if she would join them, then changed his mind, "We should get him back to your room, let him rest. If you wouldn't mind using your room."

Natsumi returns to human form and nods, but when she went to help him up, his eyes snapped open and he sat straight up, before looking at them. "That was one heck of an explosion." Kiba said looking at Kiriha.

Why did he keep calling her 'Natsumi-chan'? Why couldn't he stop saying that?

"What would that be?" Natsumi asked,
"Wait until we get inside, its not something you just discuss on the street." Kiba advised, and Natsumi nodded as they entered the hotel and carried him up to her room.
