K hesitated for a moment. This woman must have found the original file from Corinth. All the more reason not for her to get on her bad side. "That is correct. I created the Venjix virus while I was working at Alphabet Soup. I intended to use it to blind the security systems there for only a few minutes while myself and two others escaped from the facility. However, I was caught before I could install a firewall to prevent it from going outside its intended range, allowing the virus grow stronger as it attacked whole cities."

Jasmine could see the vulnerability in this woman's heart..and nodded a bit. "Alright. I understand." she walked over to her, taking a hand in hers, "You have found a good place here." she said, giving K a brief hug before stepping back, "Consider yourself hired...because I know you have not lied to me."

K smiled at the Chief before saying "Thank you." She then saluted, adding "Ma'am." The scientist knew that, as long as she was here, there would never be another Venjix, neither from her nor from someone else.
Or at least, that's what she thought. What she didn't know is that the battle with Venjix was far from over...
(And with that, the episode is done!)
