"You ever get...lonely? Homesick?" Marcel asked.

Suzie paused and shook her head. "Um ... no, no I don't really get homesick ..." She said "Not a lot back there,"

Marcel nodded. He would ask her about that later, perhaps.
"What about lonely?"

"A bit ..." Suzie admitted.

"...you don't have anyone in your life, do yo?" He asked her.

Suzie kept walking but stopped speaking, she swallowed. "... I'm hungry, i-is there anywhere in the town to eat ..." Her voice sounded a bit broken.

"...Yeah, I'll take you somewhere." He said after a brief pause. He started to walk another way, "I hate to ask...but...who did you lose...?" He looked down. He really didn't want to ask, but he felt like he should, so he could try to help her.
He had wanted to be a priest at one point in his life. This was what they did. They tried to help, right? Even if it was no longer his path, he wanted to try.

Suzie didn't say anything for a bit, she just kept walking. After an awkward silence she opened her mouth. "My brother ... My mother ... My father ... " Suzie said quietly "... There was this group and they wanted me to join them, I refused so they ... they killed my family and replaced them with ... things,"

"...I don't understand. So, some evil group wants you, gets rid of your family...and then what? What do you mean by 'things'?" Marcel asked softly, feeling for her on the inside.

"They're called Worms ..." Suzie added lamely, "They're big ... shapeshifting, alien ... insects," She sighed heavily and looked forward "It's hard to explain ..."

"Don't try to explain it, then." Marcel said, "...if you ever need someone to help you, someone to talk to, I hope you'll come to me. I can at least try to help you with things like this, both as a Rider, and as a man."

"... Thanks," She said quietly, it looked like they'd finally got into the town "We should probably find a garage or ... something,"

"Yeah, let's go." He put the conversation behind himself. He wasn't going to bring it up again.

Suzie began walking through the town, wheeling her bike with her. She tried looking around for a garage or a repair shop or something, after wandering around for a few minutes she found one.
The lights were off, the door was locked and a sign reading "Gone to lunch back in 30mins" had been hung up on the inside of the door. Suzie growled and punched the door. "Great! Now what?" She shouted.

"Well, we don't know when '30 minutes' started." Marcel said, "He could easily be back in a few minutes, for all we know. But...I think we should probably get lunch ourselves and come back."
