Content with that answer Ziggy nods. He briefly considers going to get a piece of paper and a pen to write notes to allow them to keep talking but upon reflection on the nature of the room decides against it, he doesn't want to know where those pens have been.

Dr. K was thinking of a way to communicate with Ziggy whilst their ears are plugged up, but so far she didn't have anything.

As an experiment Ziggy removes one of the ear plugs to see if things are still noisy. They are. He shoves it back in a little too fast and drops to the ground clutching the side of his head.

Ziggy gets up and heads to the light switch at the end of the room and tilts his head as if to ask if it's okay to turn it out and try to sleep in this abomination of a room.

K nodded at Ziggy to turn off the lights. At least she wouldn't hear anything that would scar her for life.

Ziggy flips the switch and makes his way back to the bed.

The next day the sun was already halfway across the sky when Ziggy managed to open his eyes and remove his earplugs. He looks over to check if K is up yet.

K is still fast asleep. She hadn't been sleeping much lately, with her studying the Ranger Keys with varying (read: it never finishes) success.

Ziggy quietly sneaks out of bed and gets a newspaper from down the hall. He immediately goes tot he classified ads and begins looking for an apartment. Unfortunately he doesn't think it through and is unable to read it since he cannot read Japanese.
