Amazon leads Rei over to a cliff overlooking a site where the trees were being cleared for a rubber plantation. Amazon points to the machine tearing up the jungle. "Bad?"

Rei looks down at the machine tearing up the jungle, and considers her answer carefully. Then she speaks. "The driving force behind that machine is bad...those people have become tied to greed...and move with little or no thought for the environment is bad. It is the brain of the operation, not the hands or legs, which merely follow what the brain tells them to do."
