Salt the Earth (Kyle Cross)

She succeeds and he tumbles onto his back with a loud cracking noise. Kyle coughs and looks up at the rider.

"Kyle, you need to roll with those hits or we're going to lose something important," Watson warned.
Kyle doesn't seem to respond, he's just lying there. His armour's chestplate has a lot of deep scratches inside it.

Amazon takes her time to walk up towards Kyle. When she is close enough she bends down and tries to lift him up by his shoulders. She looks him straight into the eyes of his helmet and asks a question with a single word. "Rider?

Kyle moves his head a little.
"Y-yeah ..." He mumbles.

His body hurts all over and despite Watson's urgings he isn't getting up.

[Amazon]

"Good." Amazon says with a slight smile before bringing her mandibles down towards Kyle's throat.

[K.W Cross]

"Watson!" Kyle shouts, trying (and just about managing) to keep the creature off of his neck by pushing on her with his right hand "Reactivate all the energy you cut from the internal wiring she damaged and run something!" He shouted.

Watson nods and charges up the suits finisher. Electrical energy dances through the circuitry until it reaches the broken and twisted wires in the chestplate. Lightning and energy fly out of his armour and straight up towards the sky and (hopefully) the beast on top of him. Kyle cries out as his armour locks up around him ...

The electrical energy takes hold of Amazon and forces her to throw Kyle away. She backs away from him slowley as her exoskeleton seems to retract into her body leaving behind a scared looking girl in a fur bikini.

"Watson ..." Kyle said, looking at the girl carefully
"I see no visible weaponry," Watson informed him.
"She just turned into a crazed insect monster and tried to eat me,"
"Fair point ..."

Kyle carefully began circling the girl waiting for her to do something.

[Amazon]

When Kyle doesn't start to attack as soon as she's vulnerable she starts to run off into the flaming fields that once bore crops.

"Ky-"
"I'm on it!"

Kyle immediately started chasing after the girl. The armour was heavier than he thought, he hadn't realised running would be this difficult. It was clunky and a little bulky. Also the little green man shouting how far away he estimated she was wasn't helping him concentrate.

[Amazon]

Amazon runs into the remains of burning barn and begins climbing to the top not seeming to feel much pain from the blistering burns swelling up on her hands as she grasbs flaming plank after flaming plank.

Kyle stops, his armour's fire proof but he can't climb like that. He shouts something and then tries to crawl up after her only for part of the barn wall to break off in his hand.

[Amazon]

Hanging from the roof Amazon hacks at some of the already heavily damages rafters that don't seem to be load bearing and smashes them until they start to fall in large flaming chunks onto Kyle's head.

Kyle moves out of the way of one chunk and successfully dodges the second but a third hits him on the back and pins him to the floor.

[Amazon]

Amazon jumps down from the rafters and transforms into her normal Amazon form of a Lizard monster. She uses her claws to hack through the wood and frees Kyle before stomping her clawed foot onto his chest. "Azrael says Riders die."

"Then Azrael's an idiot," Cross replied "Also, don't look up,"

If she did then she might catch that huge falling beam in the face instead of the back ...
