(I'm starting this thread now, but will really post on it tomorrow. Its for the idea we had Cross, about Jasmine going to meet with the police leadership. PM me with who should be in the thread, it's definitely not an open tag.)

(Since I'm taking it that everyone knows what's going on, I'm taking the lead.)
The day had come. The day when the Earth Branch's Acting Chief would make things right as far as SPD was concerned on this planet. So were her thoughts as she strode down the sidewalk towards the nearby Police HQ, clad in a full body, black and white SPD uniform, with silver shoulder epaulets and the insignia of a Branch Chief pinned on over her heart, opposite a silver SPD badge on the left.
The belt was cinched in tightly as the uniform ended just below her ankle, exposing her usual uniform boots, and her hair nestled itself on the top of the uniform, framing her face. Her SP License was on her left, and her D-Colt rested in full view on a waist holster that matched the uniform...like it or not, she came prepared to protect the people present if the party was crashed.
Slowly but deliberately, she ascended the steps, and entered the Police HQ...receiving directions to an elevator which she would take to the main conference room.
(Cross, Ren, maybe you can play the various police people. Just trying to do this right.)

The other man looked back from the window "That's kind of the point, they don't solve many cases and leave it up to vigilantes, if they're going to take Carson and Hoji off our hands ... then, why not?"

"Right away." the officer said and walked out of the room.
Jasmine, having received the ok, walks up to the door before pushing the double-doors aside and walking in to the conference room, noticing the two that had showed up, and in proper form, awaited her acknowledgement, noting that her appearance threw them off a bit.

She paused for a moment, if she was not going to be acknowledged, then she had to step up. "Gentlemen. Thank you for allowing me to come here. To introduce myself, I am the Chief of the Space Police's Earth Branch, Reimon Marika." This was one of the few times she used her real name, but it was noted. "I have a matter of importance that requires your attention."

Her gloved hand shook his as she nodded. "Pleasure to meet you. As for their fates, they will be mentioned shortly. First off, you are already aware of special crimes that cannot be explained by this planet's science, you are aware of 'alien' beings that attack your streets and the people that you are supposed to 'protect and serve.' So, you formed the Special Crimes Unit, but never gave them enough support for them to properly do what they needed to do, and had we not sympathized with them, they, and by extension your entire force, would have failed."
She paused for a moment, her tone ringing with conviction as she continued, "So you turned a blind eye to the vigilantes and other assortment of people that allegedly fight these aliens. But would you willingly put your trust in someone who could change their mind at any time? These people are as varied as they are numerous...and it is difficult to trust them if they can't be found, for example." Jasmine paused here, to let her words sink in. She was getting to her point, but wanted to make sure everything was covered.
