It was not a comforting human smile, more like the smiles of apes meant to show off their teeth when they wish to fight. It even highlighted the amber liquid running over her teeth, the same liquid that leaked from the Angels' wounds

"She transforms through the bracelet she stole from me." A voice says from behind Jack. It's another of those "angels" but this one is much larger roughly Jack's height and in possesion of several more wings along with a nasty looking scythe. Normally this would be intimidating but you just watched a savage girl rip one of these thing's heads off with her teeth.
Amazon growls at the newcomer.
"Stand aside Orpenach, my blade spared you once it will not be so merciful again."
