When they got there, Hoji set his License and gold badge aside, "How is this going to work?" he asked her, not too familiar with the base technology. Would it be something like teleport? Perhaps sending a pod or something out? He had no idea.

She took his License and badge and set it in a silver briefcase. And then called one of the few runners that was assigned to the base.
(the base had additional personnel that kept everything running.)
"Take this to SPD HeadQuarters, tell them its from the Earth Branch...they will know what to do from there." "Yes Chief." the runner replied before bolting off to the launch bay. The Dekabase itself kept three interstellar capable light transport craft, for ease of movement back and forth to HQ.
Now that the runner had left, she took her seat at the top of the Dekaroom, and sighed for a moment.

Two pods, one, with a blue streak labelled 2 and another pink labelled 5, flying down into Japan from the upper atmosphir.

"Chief, pods incoming...seems SPD in origin." The communication came in over her license, and she opened it and spoke "Roger, give them landing coordinates, or if they can't land under their own power then we will sortie and get them." "Yes Chief." the License clicks off as she looks at Hoji. "I can't ignore you." she said simply..

"But I can't help but be concerned about...wait, I know of a better way to tell you." She said before taking his hand in her gloved one and striding out of the Dekaroom, heading to a corridor that she knew no one would frequent at this hour....then she turned around and kissed him softly on the lips. After she broke for air a minute later, she looked at him, "I know that we have to continue on, and I am able to do it...but I will always be concerned for the welfare of my team...and people I've started to care for."

"You're welcome. It's just a part of who I am...some people say its a weakness...but I think it's the best part of all." Jasmine replied, blushing a little as he touched her cheek, and his thoughts rang true with her, which brought a small smile to her face.
