Thusly, Jasmine went into Deka mode (so to speak) while lowering her voice. "Well, since the search of official channels has shown up nothing, logic would dictate that this cure would be on the black market, or in an organization that SPD has been watching." She said for a moment before continuing in her low tone
"Probable responces to this would either be to look on the black market discreetly, or to infiltrate the organization in an deep cover op and find the cure, or obtain it. If the latter were to happen, the order would have to be signed by me, and the highest court in the galaxy would take this fully into account if the infiltrating Deka were ever judged." she finished in the low tone, looking at him.

He still didn't tell her about Foundation X. He'd rather not. If the black market did have such a cure, he was better off going to them. After all, Foundation X couldn't be the only people with it, right?

His License went off. "Excuse me," he said, flicking it open, "Yeah?"
It was a higher up from SPD speaking to him.
"DekaSky, we need a Tokkyou, and your suit and talents are of the level we need. You are to be reassigned immediately," he said. Though Hoji could have sworn he saw someone in a white uniform walk in the back of the video call for a split second.
Foundation X...? he wondered.

"I refuse," Hoji stated.
"You refuse?" the higher up shouted at him, "You're SPD! A Tokkyou! You cannot refuse! You are needed for a special assignment!"
"Take the DekaSky suit and powers. You said you needed them. You don't need me if you have the suit, right?" he smiled smugly, "I'll even throw in my gold badge."
The man seemed to stop for a moment, looked offscreen, and then nodded, "Fine. Give them to the Earth base and you'll be given a replacement silver badge for the time being."
"And a License?"
"Fine," he stated, signing off.
Did he look off screen at that Foundation X member? Hoji wondered, wondering if the Foundation was involved in SPD at all.
Why did they want him so much?

Jasmine just crossed her arms as it played out before her, "Would you like to fill me in on what happened there?" she asked gently after he got off the comm.

He couldn't tell her anything about Foundation X.
"I'm not a dog of the force anymore," he said, "I want to remain here, active on Earth, rather than be sent to-and-fro as they see fit. Resigning my Tokkyou status, while hard to do, gives me the freedom to be an officer on Earth."
He looked from his License to her, having spoken while looking at it, "I feel it was worth the trade."

He came out in his uniform with the clothes he intended to buy, "Well, should we go to Deka Base and take care of semantics?" he asked as he walked to check out.

As they walked, Hoji removed his gold badge from his uniform, looking at it with distaste, and forlorn. It had taken him so long to earn it, but he hated it, hated that his life was gone for so many years as a result of having gone after it.

Jasmine put a hand on his shoulder but otherwise remained silent as they walked back, before finally entering the massive base, and heading to the East Section, where the Dekaroom was.
